Whats the attraction in fireworks ?

i just dont get it... you spend money.. light a fuse... BOOM.. and thats it. a loud noise... for way to much money...

@Yourbeau I suffer from Complex PTSD and I LOVE fireworks :)

It is very detrimental to wildlife from what I understand, however :(
