Do you go big on your birthdays or go low key or no key and just treat it as a normal day?

I prefer low-key or no-key birthdays.

My 50th was the day after I left my now second ex so it wasn't cause for celebration other than feeling unusually relaxed on the first full day in my then rented house (which is the one I now own).

I don't have anyone to 'celebrate' with other than my daughter (and perhaps my adult kids if one or more of them visit).

I don’t need anything done for my birthdays. And nothing was done for my 50th which was fine with me. I don’t want anybody making a fuss over me.

I prefer to celebrate everyone else's and forget mine, but my family and friends won't put up with that.

I like the kids' birthdays, but not so much my own or the big thing that some adults make of theirs.

I'm in the low/no key group. Just another day. If I awoke it's a good day. :)

Everyday is my birthday.

Other than buying myself a cake and a gift, it's a normal day for me.
My birthday falls on a holiday, so even when I’d just as soon ignore it, it comes in with fireworks. 🎊🎉

My birthday is on Thanksgiving Day this year, so it will obviously only be mentioned briefly.

Just another day for me. Stopped being a big thing when I got old enough to vote.
