An Oakland A's baseball game in early 2022. Season ticket holder for 50 years, and couldn't take it any more. Never thought the day would come when I would say I preferred watching on TV than in person at the ballpark, but ownership had made the fan experience so unbearable -- not to say expensive -- in its desire to relocate, that day had come.

Nothing against the players or the baseball operations people in the front office. They continued to give there all and put an entertaining -- if not always competitive -- team on the field. But the fan experience no longer was there. Deliberately sabotaged by the billionaire owner.

Will be going to my first in-person, ballpark game since then come spring training, courtesy of my granddaughter!

A friends grandson's little .league baseball came visited with my friend and his family saw his grandson get a couple good hits and his team one, plus was a nice warm day!

Our daughter is a high school volleyball coach, and our granddaughter is on the team. So we saw lots of games. Our grandson plays football, and I think that is the last event I attended.

Will be fun to read what others wrote on here. I haven't been to either in a long time and actually do not enjoy live events.

Never even wanted to go to a professional sporting event. I never liked crowds of people.

It was bad enough having to play in a Jr highschool at band at Angle stadium. You couldn't catch me in the crowd.

I saw Mother Mother in the summer of 2024. It was fun but my anxiety got in the way pretty badly.

I think it was to see the Lords of Acid years ago. It was an awesome time and an even better show. 🥰

A Chiefs game a few weeks ago. It was stressful getting everything ready last minute but we had a great time

Last concert I went to was Iron Maiden, in London, absolutely brilliant show.

I attended all the 2025 World Series baseball games at the Rogers Center in downtown Toronto. There was 50,000 people there for each game and the noise was unbearable, but I enjoyed the games!
