An all expense paid trip to Vancouver.

robertsnj · 56-60, M
I am in tech sales won lots of stuff ranging from

-gift cards from 25-50 bucks * ridiculous amount of gift cards*

- Computer equipment *a lot of computer equipment *

- software i didnt' care about

- a 36 inch plasma tv

- other stuff i long forgot about

Actually I can make an interesting story about this. I once won software that could be used to draw on digital photos when was that was still a new thing. I won a year long license. I don't remember the name of the software anymore--it may not even exist anymore. Anyway the guy in the cube next to me was really conservative.

To mess with him I would find pictures of famous tough guy actors and "doll them up" to email them to him. One time i grabbed a picture of John Wayne and used the software to have him hold an umbrella and wear high heels before emailing it to hem.

I remember him looking up at me and say "are you finished fucking with me today"? he was laughing as he said this. I think I said "a spoon full of sugar.. " in response to that.

We were (are) both straight and good friends actually. He was conservative and I was (am) liberal. We had great conversations in the office during slow times.

I haven't thought about that in over a decade but this question and how toxic conversations across the political spectrum (even on here) made me think of it.

I won 1st prize in a talent show.

I dressed up as a nun and mimed the opening song of Sister Act 2..
I didn't want people to know what I was going to do so I waited till last minute to get changed. I waited a bit too long, they called me on stage and I had left my shoes in the dressing room. Was wearing my socks though. And the stage was polished wood... I fell off the stage twice during my act and accidentally took out a drum kit.

Thevy29 · 41-45, M

@Lyfis2live It was at my small hometown's Chautauqua in 1953. I was standing in a forest of legs and heard my name. My father picked me up and put me on his shoulder and deposited me on the back of a flatbed truck. Everyone was smiling and applauding. My first taste of fame!
