What's a sign that you are getting past your sell-by date?

I have taught all of mine to raise the standard and it actually catch's on
I love when all my Grandkids friends line up to give me a hug boys and girls and even at the high school with all their friends around they are not embarrassed ,and all of them are pretty popular so when I am out and expecting people to be rude and unfriendly ,its always nice to hear someone say
"Aren't you Papaw " and give me a hug
They have been raised a lot of them to be that way
now days you do have to be careful even with people they know
But its easier to teach them to stay aware and basic ways to defend themselves ,then to just be jerks to everyone ,
and it does catch on ,,
I am always happy and proud now days to hear Papaw ,,even when its not my grandkids
its shows we have made a little difference ,,,

@rckt148 I agree...it is a sign of the times. Males are all usually suspect these days and especially the older they are. It doesn't help that there are so many males who really are actually guilty of the behaviors we all are suspected and accused of. Thanks, and great job🤠👍️

I have started to lift my feet onto a dining room chair to tie my shoes.

I get my man-servant to put mine on for me..............

They hand us a pair of non slip socks (so we won't slip on those highly waxed floor's and break a hip )
