Do you ever randomly smell (or sense) something familiar but it couldn’t possibly be there?

Olfactory hallucinations. I get them occasionally, usually food smells, but if I've been in a dirty environment sometimes I think I can smell the dirt for the rest of the day.

Yup. Every once in a while I get a whiff of what I swear is a friend of mine's house growing up. It's weird and there's nothing in my house that would be causing it to smell that way.

Yes! I “hallucinate” certain smells… out of nowhere… especially smells linked with something I am trying to recall

Yes I do, I call them Phantom smells. Sometimes I smell smoke and there is nothing inside this house to smell like smoke. And sometimes other things.

Sometimes i walk into a room and the smell of it triggers a memory. Or my nose remembers the smell but my mind cant picture it.

I could smell my nan's perfume a second ago but she's dead now, so. 😅 Not possible.
