Do you ever randomly smell (or sense) something familiar but it couldn’t possibly be there?

I am laying in bed smelling marshmallows. There’s no marshmallows anywhere. I used to smell them when I was a kid too.

Yup. Every once in a while I get a whiff of what I swear is a friend of mine's house growing up. It's weird and there's nothing in my house that would be causing it to smell that way.

@thepeculiarpanda are you still friends? It’s fkn crazy and I’m trying to understand. It can’t just be a brain thing. You can actually smell it without thinking of it.
