Do you ever randomly smell (or sense) something familiar but it couldn’t possibly be there?

I am laying in bed smelling marshmallows. There’s no marshmallows anywhere. I used to smell them when I was a kid too.

Used to wake up and smell maple syrup, only a) no one had the maple syrup out, and b) both my wife at the time AND I smelled it.
