Anybody else find the ads disgusting that automatically play alongside SW content?

Luckily I have VIP so I’m not bothered with ads anymore.. they were annoying for sure

I've gotten to the point where I'm deliberately trying to screw up the algorithms that recommend the ads in the first place. I'll give random answers to product surveys and X out of 90% of the ads Google shows me, but I'll make sure to click on a few first just to confuse the machine even further.

I'll intentionally look up all manner of weird things I can think of just to feed more junk into the system. I'm sure it won't do anything in the end as far as the ad blitz go, but I do enjoy knowing that all those advertising dollars are being wasted on me

Good heavens. SO glad I don't have to see them. I don't see them because I purchased VIP membership, and there are no ads with VIP.

Simple answer is to set ads to the top of the page in the settings.

Now I know that setting preference gets reset once a week, yet it's not that hard to reset it back every week.

Not really. Now the ones on youtube during an election cycle turn the thing into a torture device.

There is an option in your settings to not see them or to only have the one at the top of the screen.
