I 'm still baffled, what kind of logic is this..hahahahahaha

Do you know what food has the largest global water footprint? Beef. It takes approximately 1,847 gallons of water to produce 1 pound of beef
pdockal · 56-60, M
@Soossie
Almonds, avocado, sugar cane
Btw cattle consume water not beef
@pdockal

Well, of course … please notice the word “largest” ..

Do you know what food has the largest global water footprint?

And :
Btw cattle consume water not beef
It takes cattle to produce beef …
pdockal · 56-60, M
@Soossie

I did see that and i do understand that cattle become beef!

Unless what I'm reading is WRONG when you look for the foods that require the most water to produce you come up with the ones i listed.
Cows take a lot of resources to feed, and release a large amount of methane into the air. I love beef, but it's going to cost us.
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow banning meat is not going to save the planet
@Zenbra No point in arguing with someone who is actively choosing to play dumb.
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow @PicturesOfABetterTomorrow well then stop arguing. Go save the planet,lol

More than 200,000 acres of rainforest get burned every day, to make way for the meat industry. And that's just the opener.

What's illogical, is for people to continue down the path we're on now, knowing well that the next generations will, one day, be left with apocalyptic landscapes.

Is anything preventing you from buying steaks and cooking them at home? Is this chain the only restaurant serving food that's available within a walking, or short driving distance from you?

Perhaps those who want to limit their steak intake, not necessarily for environmental reasons, but for heart health reasons, welcome this development, because it will help them control their meat addiction (certain foods are trigger foods and as addictive as drugs). They now have a choice.

Every single decision, every one of us makes, makes a difference.
@Northwest "More than 200,000 acres of rainforest get burned every day, to make way for the meat industry."

In fact.........that is a lie. Rain forests are mainly located in South America and in similar temperate/rainfall areas in S.E. Asia.......and in neither location does a meat industry exist.
Northwest · M
@MaBalzEsHari you seem to be blissfully ignorant of the fact the world’s largest rainforest is in Brazil and that Brazil is the largest exporter/producer of beef.

There’s no reason to be this stupid son, when Google can be your best friend.

Oh, and Brazil is in South America.
@Northwest My bad..............and thanks for that correction son. More meat is a good thing.
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout confused? Well yeah! Jokes are the Truth. Nobody knows is the only important fact.
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout hahaha, the only way
wildbill83 · 36-40, M
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout the irony is, vegans are so stupid, you could sell them a triple bacon cheeseburger, tell them it's all plant based, charge a premium for it, and most would never know the difference...
originnone · 61-69, M
Raising cattle has a substantial environmental impact.
CestManan · 46-50, F
@originnone they didn't used to be real bad but then Trump came along and some of them became complete crackpots. I know there are plenty that still think like normal humans.
originnone · 61-69, M
@CestManan I think those crackpots were always there. They just didn't have a voice until trump.
Slade · 56-60, M
@CestManan idiot
It’s called the “ how to get ppl to eat elsewhere” economics…

wildbill83 · 36-40, M
greenies/environmentalists continue to astonish me with their abundant stupidity... 🤦‍♂️
@wildbill83 agreed
val70 · 51-55
In short, it takes more of the planet to get us all beef instead of just rice :-)
@val70 the fake green in Europe are getting rid of farming in Holland with fine excuses.
val70 · 51-55
@Roundandroundwego The excuses these days are always fine. It goes up the body from the back 🙄
GunFinger · F
If a restaurant doesn't serve steak, we're not going there.
@GunFinger me neither..lol
AJS30 · 31-35, M
More stupidity from "global warming" sheep.
@AJS30 Tell me without telling me you are also a flat earther.
Will they save their revenue too?
Many of the comments on this post made me incredibly sad. I grew up on my Da’s cattle ranch. We were beef producers. You can say that people eat far too much meat and factory style meat production is costly and dangerous to the environment but my Da was a small family rancher, the same kind that factory style meat production tends to run out of business by producing so much and lowering the cost of the meat to the point that small family ranches struggle to stay in business. My Da tried to do everything he could to be very sustainable and environmently friendly as he could as well as producing non antibiotic filled cattle so healthier meat as well.

I seriously don’t think family ranches like my Da’s are killing the planet but many of the comments on this post sure made me sad.
Nobody knows.
You have to laugh.
Guns? Nobody knows what you should do. Probably nothing.
Remember, It's just a joke. Lol.
I'm loving it. Lol. Mmmmmm.
@Zenbra no way to say. There's a connection? Right. Link? The link is pinko. Nobody knows nothing. I like it for the Americans. They deserve this.
@Roundandroundwego I can say it. Banning meat is not going to save the planet, whether in America or anywhere..lol
@Zenbra okay! You're entitled to your own facts, of course.
I think you snide Murkan people dig death for the ecosystem cuz you won't share it.
wildbill83 · 36-40, M
must not be very iconic if they can't even give a name....

sorta like the mental midgets on here that bash western countries, but are too embarrassed to share where they themselves are from (and even get angry when you ask them)... 🤔
@Zenbra That’s a question that “ iconic” steakhouse chain needs to answer for the customers who create revenue from steak dinners, I guess.
@soar2newhighs it's obvious the owner of the chain has no respect for its customers by just banning the meat thinking they are going to save the planet...lol
@Zenbra I agree.
Let's burn all the fucking forests down. Ain't nobody got time for hippie shit. I'll wipe my ass on a flag.
Odds are that choice "removed" a lot of their business.
@MaBalzEsHari @MaBalzEsHari And he won't save the planet either..lol
@Zenbra That's a given. ;-) All he or she will do is lose money and clientele.
plungesponge · 41-45, M
This is dumb. The real way to save humanity is to poison the beef.
Shaveit · 61-69, M
Cow farts are causing global warming
Catzgano · 31-35, F
Which planet? 😂
@Catzgano Does it matter, hahahah
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
@Catzgano the meat planet, it's radius is becoming critically small and it's in danger of being re-classified as a meateor

Fairydust · F
The small amount rich men that decide this for us useless eaters, won’t be giving steak up that’s for sure,
while they jet around the world discussing how to deal with us.

We’ll own nothing and be happy!
Fairydust · F
Eat zeee bugs 🪳🦗
No Logic!

1) Unnatural Fear of Cow farts maybe?
2) The New HOT Vegan Trophy Wife of the Owner INSISTED!
3) LARGE Investment in Vegan Meat Alternatives which have a 400% markup on the Menu!
@KneAuxBody

1) Not unnatural or a fear. Basic facts and evidence backed by science.

2) yeah because policy is dictated by teenage boys.

3) Did you never learn the concept of economies of scale under capitalism? Initial higher prices happen with literally all actually new products.
@soar2newhighs Getting upset about something that is not happening again I see.

Did they take off Lamb and Chicken too?

Bet they kept their Quail eggs? Does anyone know what a Quail is?
@Thevy29 Chickens, lambs, and quails don't have quite the same water footprint as cows. To raise cattle for food, you need to have a very large acreage of grass, which requires literally tons of water, to say nothing of the plant and animal life you are displacing. You are comparing apples to oranges.

Democrat logic
They say cow farts are killing the ozone again. They have to keep the feeble minded scared
@Shaveit No one has to keep the feeble minded scared. All ya have to do is say Bud Lite...........or Mickey Mouse or Green M&M's. They run like the commies just invaded.
pdockal · 56-60, M
It's not logic @ all
If it's true they will close eventually
Tracos · 51-55, M
Makes perfect sense to me
