I’ve got a coworker who absolutely won’t talk about whatever is upsetting her, but is dramatically crying so hard her wailing can be heard outside.

That would get her sent home at my company. 😬 but I do hope she's ok

Yeah, someone needs to tell her to take a break until she can compose herself. You can't be falling apart in the workplace. I'm surprised that management haven't stepped in yet.

Very uncomfortable for sure. Like has been mentioned already, maybe a boss type could tell her to go home as being at work isn't good for her or you all.

sometimes just sitting beside her will help.. at work that is not good. might be rape or lover leaving or death in family ect.. who knows . if ya visit her at her home she might open up.. so sorry to hear about this. mark
