Did u know doctors don’t have personal freedom re covid vaccines?

If unvaccinated, they’re out of work!
Does that sit with u?

first i think that depends on what their practice is involved in. there is no licensing requirement to be vaccinated for any disease. I won't get into an argument as to the value of the vaccines, as far as I am concerned, there is no debate.

The physician has a right to refuse, and his patients have the right to go to them or not. There is a doctrine of universal precautions, requires the physician to wash hands, wear mask and eye covering in certain circumstances and locations, if the physician refuses they can be banned from operating in those circumstances. Those rules are intended to protect both the physician and the patient. .

@Wiseacre US. I have been searching a while trying to find a statement that Canada requires all physicians that be immunized. I can't find such. Whether or not to be immunized seems to still be an individual choice, except if it is required by a specific workplace. There is a statement that a physician, or practice may not be forced to disclose their immunization status. It appears, from some data, that over 90% have been working immunized.

U won’t find such information because it’s outrageous...swept under the rug. My unvaccinated doctor who works outside the system told me.@samueltyler2

@Wiseacre then how could it be required by the country? I don't understand.
Nurumberg 2.0 is going to be delicious.

I was talking to a nurse the other day about that, not at a doctor's office but she came into our work and yeah apparently that situation is kind of a mess. Apparently they're not pushing the booster shots is hard but I don't remember exactly what she said.

But my opinion, that would kind of suck to have a job that requires something like that because unlike low-paying jobs, a doctor cannot just quit and walk up the street and find a replacement job that pays about the same.

They had to take other work !@CestManan
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@CestManan You do know that most hospitals require all employees to be vaccinated against an assortment of vaccine-preventable illnesses, measles, mumps, rubella, tetanus, pertussis, diphtheria, hepatitis, and to be regularly tested for tuberculosis? This is intended to protect them, and any failure to protect them from catching one of them in their line of work, as well as to prevent them from spreading illness to patients when they are asymptomatic.

I have no problem with it.

And, if a newscaster doesn't follow what's scripted and reports anything that doesn't support the narrative, they're out of work, too.

Probably@PhoenixPhail
Funlov · M
Why are you so much to talk about Covid lately?
Wiseacre · F
And other provinces as well.@Funlov

@Wiseacre by the least here in Alberta, we’re standing our ground. We’re trying to take our gun rights away from us. We won’t let it happen the federal governments pushing their little liberal skinny arms way too far.

👍Great comment!@Funlov
