Did you ever sleepwalk?

Haven't done it for a couple of years now, but it started when I was 10 till around 14.
It was just in the house and I normally got found by a parent or managed to go back to bed.
But one time when I was on holiday I walked out the French doors on to the street and apparently walked two miles before a couple saw me and wondered why a girl would be out walking in a nightdress.
The couple reaIised I was sleepwalking and called the police while watching over me.
I vaguely remember waking up in a soft chair and couldn't work out where I was to start.
They gave me a blanket to wrap round me and someone had managed to get hold of some flip flops.
I am so glad the couple saw me as I hate to think what could have happened.
They say it's caused by lack of sleep or anxiety but I have neither so it's a bit if a mystery as to why I did it.

@Cinderellagirl yeah lol not for my energy levels though
I have a recollection of sleep walking once at a kindergarten or pre-K age while running a very high fever. I can still see the weird floating colored blobs that I thought were chasing me.

@ElwoodBlues As long as you were alright afterwards.
@Cinderellagirl Thanks, I was OK after. My parents told me they were rushing around trying to turn on lights in every room downstairs so I wouldn't trip or run into anything. It might have been more like sleep running than sleep walking. And I'm pretty sure it was fever-induced.

@ElwoodBlues That's good then.

I use to when I was younger. Back at my grandfather place we had bunk beds in the spare bedroom. My bed was the bottom I do remember going to sleep there one night. When I woke up the next morning I was on top

Possibly. Have a pic of myself at around five where I think I might have sleep walked.

Yet I do remember a girl that I'm certain was sleep walking when she was ten.

Odd situation. I didn't want to wake her up. And she eventually did go back to her own room.

Two miles? That's some distance to cover in your night things.

At boarding school there was a girl in our dorm who regularly sleepwalked. The door of our boarding house was always locked though so she would just turn around and come back to our room.

@SunshineGirl It was along some kind of promenade in early morning, but I was lucky.
