US Healthcare is a joke

I always tell people if I'm not dying or otherwise I'm not doing hospitals or ambulance rides i usually fix myself why?

because a sliced finger from a kitchen mishap that requires three small stitches ( Even with medical insurance) should not run me about $1,500 absolutely ridiculous or them still charging you but saying nothing is wrong the biggest theives in the country and sadly a lot of people are following me. for the average joe we just can't afford to go to hospitals anymore and it will get worse.

My gf's dad is a roofer, and one day he cut open his thumb almost to the bone. He literally just washed it and held it together with super glue and duct tape. He had kids to feed, he couldn't afford the hospital bill.

Never sought treatment for it as far as I'm aware. Also never got feeling back in those nerve endings, so yeah. Tradeoffs

@TinyViolins so proving we need a single payer, universal health care program!
