Another CT Scan

I'm sitting in the diagnostic center waiting room having to drink a 450ml bottle of potassium sulfate... this stuff is nasty!

You have to arrive an hour early, then drink this nasty stuff and wait for a minimum of 45 minutes before your CT scan.

I appreciate how lucky I've been to have the best medical care possible, but I about done with doctors and all the friggin tests.

Rant over, carry on.

Ooo, my C T scan a couple of weeks ago I didn't have to drink, but I got a needle and iodine in the arm.

@Ontheroad A bit of a letdown from the MRI I had two weeks earlier -- the CT techie didn't give me headphones and let me choose music to listen to. :(

Yeah I've had that. It's nasty but the scan itself is quick.
Drink lots of water after it's done.

[@theroad] 🤔maybe a pain for you but a small sacrifice if the scan helps diagnose what your issue is and then it can be treated

@Ontheroad So glad you will be at normal! Hope it goes smoothly and i feel you. Ive been putting oFf the doctors For this lil cyst in my stomach ..I get high anxiety with Doctors. But I need to go in soon. Finger crossed it is a cyst .

@Ontheroad Ty ..Ive put it off a while. My sister had a benign cyst.in the same area so hoping it is also that. I am nervous what if it is not just a cyst?? But I need to go in soon. Ty friend 🌻
