What does he do now that the money has run out? I mean I could do it but that's because I am retired and have an ok-ish pension. But someone younger might find it a bit challenging after a very few years.
@cherokeepatti Must have had inherited wealth and a decent unearned income. People who are rated as vulnerable by the NHS with respect to COVID are normally unwell, unfit, have a depressed immune system, etc. Such people often find it hard to hold down a high paying job and as a result have little in the way of financial resources to do such a thing. And if you are vulnerable to infection for those reasons I suspect that sailing a boat might pose a bit of a challenge.
Sounds like an odd story to me. Not sure I believe it could be true.
