Looked this up on Google but there doesn't seem to be a definite answer. I was exposed to Covid last Friday.

How many days do I need to isolate? I am not sick at all other than my usual asthma symptoms. My friend became quite ill with flu like symptoms the day after I saw him.

He went to the doctor and had a monoclonal antibody test, but they didn't tell him which variant he has...just that he has Covid.

Online concensus appears to be that I could still become sick 14 days later if he has Covid 19. If he has the Delta variant, I would get sick 5.61 days after exposure...so I've already passed that mark.
You dont need to. Everyone had been exposed to it by now unknowingly. Like anything else, if you feel sick, see a dr.

@TallMtnMedic Great advice! Thank you!
Don't worry until you feel symptoms. I've been exposed to others who've tested positive, and didn't get it from them. I had it, but that was nearly 2 years ago.
@4meAndyou Honestly, it really wasn't too bad. Headache, low grade fever, and a general lack of energy. The worst part was it lasted about 10 days.

@BizSuitStacy 🤣🤣🤣 I feel that way ALL the time...so I could have it and not even know it...🤣🤣🤣
@4meAndyou And, a great number of cases are asymptomatic.

Pray to God if you get sick. However, don't take the vaccine because it might kill you and cannot prevent you from getting covid anyway.

@marke Too late. I had the vaccine 2 years ago, and two boosters. I have also had some very lovely prayers said for me.

@4meAndyou

I was 68 years old when I got covid. The Lord delivered me and I never got the risky vaccine.

@marke Praise God!
Just because you've been exposed to someone who has it, doesn't mean you're going to get it, even if you test positive for it. There are so many false positives, anyway.

Also, you don't need to isolate unless you feel sick. If you're not symptomatic, you won't spread it. And, if you're with someone who's tested positive and they're not symptomatic, you won't get it from them.
@4meAndyou That's a good example of how unreliable the tests are. He could have tested positive at home and negative at the doctor's office.

I hope you don't show symptoms. If you do, try not to stress about it. The greatest likelihood is that you'll be fine.

I was with someone who had the symptoms. He even coughed in my direction and I never got sick. I also never got vaccinated and never will.

@PhoenixPhail I don't stress about most things. Mostly I am wondering how long I need to isolate, if at all.
@4meAndyou My understanding is, if you don't have any symptoms, there's no need to isolate, at all.

Last I read even if you were positive for covid if you were symptom free for 5 days you were good to go. I'm not sure but the gestation period but 3-5 days rings a bell.

[c=800000]Who knows what to believe?
Didn't Biden declare Covid was over, about six months ago and again a week or so ago? [/c]
🤷‍♂️
@ProfessorPlum77 He did. Which to me means “believe the complete opposite of what he’s saying.”

[c=800000]According to Fauci, "Out of an abundance of caution," "Isolate for ten/ make that five days," "Get the vaccine," "And a booster," "Stop buying masks," "wear a mask," and on and on. [/c]

If you’re sick stay home & rest till you feel better
SW-User
They’re not recommending isolation for casual exposure anymore

If you’re worried take a RAT
4meAndyou · F
@SW-User I have lots of home tests, but haven't any symptoms except exhaustion from asthma and not sleeping.
