@gol979 First, Microns dont enter into this. Its virus, suspended in droplets in the air.Not a gas. Second, this is a numbers game. If you keep a reasonable distance and wear a mask and you have been vaccinated to the recommended standard, (and the mask is one othose KN95 ones propery worn,) your chance of inhaling any visus is close to zero. Now I get that some governments are seen as untrustworthy. But looking around at those who have never contracted the virus and yoy will find most are vaccinated , hand washing mask wearers.. Of course, that could be a coincidence..😷

Read every single rct showing masks dont work (been known for decades). You mask up all you want, it should be a choice.....and keep telling yourself the super fearful (carconogenic hand washing, isolation, insane amount of fraudulent tests up your nose, scared distancing and all the other insane rituals) are the ones "safe" from the sniffles

@gol979 A virus, even particulate viral material, doesn’t travel alone. There’s always a medium of transmission, usually droplets, resulting in the size of the infectious particle being heavily amplified.

Additionally, multiple layers of weave sharply reduce the ability of infectious matter to penetrate the layers of protection... there’s no direct pathway through (it's like a maze)

Protection is hugely increased if the transmission vector (you) is fully vaccinated with a resultant low viral load. Of course, that involves the transmission vector (you) giving a dam about the well-being of other people.

There may well be a website somewhere, hosted by a slack-jawed yokel, claiming otherwise, and if that’s what constitutes expert and educated medical advice for you, then have at it.

Nope, a micron is a measurement of 0.001mm. Viruses are measured in nanometres or 0.001 microns.

But the size of a virus is totally irrelevant because they are carried in a medium which can be stopped by using a mask or some other barrier.

@gol979 We are talking about small droplets of fluid, which may include what you call "spit." But it doesn't matter what it is, it carries the virus. The vurus does not float about in the air all by itself.
