I stopped wearing masks a year ago. I don't wear them when i go to a GP clinic or dentist. In fact my dentist and the other staff there don't wear them at all.
I still do not see anyone using masks properly, and disposing of single-use masks as medical contaminated waste, or properly replacing/storing/washing/re-using cloth ones. So we're our own worst enemy when it comes to thinking masks are or have been 'saving' us. Even Jesus Christ Superstar can't save us. ;-)

Wow. Coming up for 3 years and still wearing masks.....well, some are all in, i will give them that.
Shame the same commitment hasnt been shown to have even a cursory glance at the efficacy of masks and the size of microns. If this was the case you would be wondering why the "experts" are telling you to cover your breathing holes and hide your face

@newjaninev2 nope. Sorry but you are wrong. Masks are gross and weird and have no beneficial outcome......plenty of negatives. And masks on children is just full on crazy. You adults crack on but whats been done with children over this massive lie is nothing short of horrendous

@gol979 We are talking about small droplets of fluid, which may include what you call "spit." But it doesn't matter what it is, it carries the virus. The vurus does not float about in the air all by itself.

@gol979 gross and weird?? That’s your argument against masks, it it?
Got all that technical information from some guy’s website, I suppose

Any biohazard bins to properly dispose of a contaminated mask?
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
@newjaninev2 Too bad you don’t understand what I wrote.

@MrBrownstone Could you perhaps specify whatever it was you were referring to?

So does Melbourne and our govt is going to start giving away masks to encourage people to wear them anywhere inside. Something I still do. (And no. I havent had it)😷

@whowasthatmaskedman Numbers going down in Melbourne?
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@Gusman Supposedly peaked and on the turn down. (I havent been following as closely as I used to, not being so concerned about doing my part for the cause as much as protecting me and mine. They wont lock down again like before.)😷

I'm still wearing a mask. No way would get on a bus or in a taxi. Covid isn't through with us yet.
