I get the desire for people to make their own decisions.
YYesterday, I played music really loud at 4am and woke up my neighbours. They had the audacity to complain. This was f+++ING rich because it's my choice what I do in my own house even if it effects other people.

@Budwick You are ignorant or pretending to be. I don't know which and don't care.

@Burnley123 trust me....he's not pretending..

Everyone should make their own decisions, but based on facts. There are some conditions that increase the risks of the vaccine, so if you have any of those, you may be safer risking COVID. That's rare though, so the average person should indeed just get it, but there are exceptions.

@HootyTheNightOwl LOL. I wasn't fighting with him. Why would I?
We disagree though he has manners enough not to jump to assumptions or call me dumb.

@HootyTheNightOwl pffff. You've misunderstood my point.
At no stage have I said people with life threatening allergies should be force vaccinated. My comment was aimed at anti-vaxxers.
I have sympathy for your personal circumstances but you've really badly missed the point.

Everyone should have the freedom of choice concerning what goes into their body.
Stopmakingsense · 56-60, F
@UnderLockDown not if you're doing a job or attending school.
JoeyFoxx · 56-60, M
@UnderLockDown then all narcotics should be legalized and there should be no punishment for driving drunk

Listen, those viruses seems immune to Vaccine.
We'd better do the same.
We'd better do the same.

@doong At the end of the day, chances of dying from a seatbelt are infinitesimal in comparison to chances of dying in a crash, and similarly, chances of dying or experiencing anything significant as a consequence of ANY of the currently approved vaccines is infinitesimal to the risks of developing, in decreasing order, PASC/long-covid, severe-covid or fatal-covid.
Elessar · 26-30, M
@doong Events like the one you described have an odd ratio in the order of 1:10^5 to 1:10^6. In my country of ~60 million people with a vaccination rate of 71% (42,355,056 fully vaccinated people), events like that happened in less than 100 (one hundred) people. Probably less, some areas of the press would report any and every single case even if just suspect to have a point against vaccination and the current government, and they didn't get even close to reporting 100 events as far as I can tell. So, even being generous, we're speaking of 100 people in a pool of 47,355,056 vaccinated individuals. If you're concerned about that, you better seal yourself in your home and never leave, even just by standing close to a road you have a much higher risk of dying by someone crashing and getting over you. Even using the stove in your kitchen is MUCH riskier than that, statistically speaking.
Remember that covid kicks in the ass circa one person every 25 (not thousands, not millions - TWENTYFIVE).
100/47,355,056 (= 1/475,551), versus 1/25
0.0002% vs 4.0%

@Sweetpoison Like it or not you are part of the vaccine test process. You just don't get it.

Natural selection at work for those not being vaccinated

Unfortunately, people still insist on the right to be dumbasses.
