Covid has an extremely high survival rate. 99.7% of people who get it fully recover without treatment. Depending on the type of cancer it can be very lethal or a minor inconvenience. (lung cancer has a 20% survival rate. Benign skin cancers are little more than a spot on the skin.
Cancer ain't really something to be feared. You either get it or ya don't, all the actual factors you influence are squarely by your own design most of the time. With COVID you gotta hope that there ain't any cunts around you at any given time.

Currently more so. It's highly contagious. It's novel and therefore we all have none or very limited immunity to it.
I'm probably at a higher risk being in my late 50s from Covid in the next year than I am from any cancer.
