What prevented you from running for the hills when you first joined SW?

lol, this is my 3rd account, I did run the first time I joined 😅 I didn't understand how to deactivate, so I changed my name to something very offensive and they closed it for me 😛 But seriously... this place was a cesspool back in 2016. Came back in 2018, knowing what to expect, and lasted until last year with that account. It's really different here after almost 9 years, tho

@ShepherdBard I'm doing much better now... I actually got blocked back in the day because most of my posts were about offing myself.

At least now I can talk about other things and have a laugh between bouts of depression. It helped that I was able to find my people here, who accept that I talk a lot about abuse and my mental health... and I grew enough back bone to tell people where to go if they don't like me.
