Why is dating a younger man/boy a taboo out there?

And that too when it is experienced and loved by most.. whats your take on it?

Against or in favor?

my first sex was with an older woman she taught me a lot about how please a woman and how a woman can please a man ,That knowledge has worked for me very well over the years with older and younger girls and women.
@longhairedcougar With an older woman or girl? Yes.
longhairedcougar · 51-55, F
@FrogManSometimesLooksBothWays age gap.. how old are you now?
Young guys are horny and can learn a lot from an older lady, but he will always be only a toy to play with for a while. If you are lucky enough to find a toy to play with, who cares what others think, have fun. He certainly will.

When I was 19 I dated a 41 year old woman for about 4 months. She was up front about the fact that she wanted to be with young men. She taught me to slow down and how to properly tease a woman. Basically she taught me how to make love as opposed to just f*****g. My love life changed after that experience for the better.
laurieluvsit · 31-35, F
Nothing wrong with it.

I love younger boys because they are curious.

Curiosity doesn't kill the cat ...satisfying it makes one wiser :)

@laurieluvsit
You are definitely MY kind of girl 😍
I have a strong sense of traditional values and morals. I'm concerned about the trend of older women dating or marrying much younger men, say 50+ women dating guys in their 20's and even marrying. I understand that everyone has the right to make their own choices, but I can't help but feel concerned when I see significant age gaps in relationships. I value mutual respect, equality, and compatibility. I worry that these factors might be overlooked in relationships with large age differences. I certainly don't believe it's proper for an old lady to be wanting to break in a young man in his twenties, let alone engage in that type of activity. Then we wonder why this country is failing and will be judged. This is disgusting to think that this type behavior is acceptable in this day and age, or that an old woman would sink that low. There's no self-esteem, self-worth, or respect for herself, in that.

One of my current bfs is 10 years younger than me. If there is stigma I'm oblivious to it.
Jacko1971 · 51-55, M
@KatyO83 how many current boyfriends do you have? 😕
KatyO83 · 41-45, F
@Jacko1971 3 to 4. One I've not seen in a while we might be done 🤷🏻
Not sure it is that taboo anymore. If they are of age, i know i dont care who anyone dates.
gandalf1957 · 61-69, M
an older woman taught me a lot - she was 18 years older than me.
CactusJackManson · 51-55, M
If you're both adults, go for it.

@NoThanksLeon I'm an old woman and I definitely do not think that getting a younger man would make me more anything.
I don't have time to be "hot " a word I detest...as I am too busy with my grandchildren.
I personally wouldn't want a date someone I wasn't sure if I was supposed to kiss or burp them... And have no desire to bring up another child.

It's not a taboo at all.But what matters is how younger.Unless the person isn't under 18 then everything's fine.
I learned a lot from one of my friend’s mother.

@Submissiveiendencies awww you naughty lil puppy

LavidaRaq · F
It’s ok for older men, younger women, so it shouldn’t be a big deal.
DrWatson · 70-79, M
If two people are happy, and of legal age, I wish them all the best.

If it is it shouldn't be, date who you want, have fun

Have gun, will travel? Enjoy yourself; i was blessed enough to have a few older ladies enjoy my attention, i can't say decidedly that they necessarily taught me anything, but i did learn....🤗🤗🤗🤗

I used to want a young girl for myself in my late 20s because I didn’t want a 304 to one day take as my wife. I was a late bloomer and a virgin. I wanted someone untouched like myself, so I thought a lady under 25 was my best chance. I was in a relationship, and then lost our virginity in her early 20s. My views have changed over the last few years.

I think they’re right when they say anyone in high school or starting college is WAAAAY too young, especially for a person in his/her 50s. Out of college, they might have some worldly experience. 25 and over, is fair game. I find those stories of high school teachers in their 30s taking advantage of some horny high school boys morally wrong. The kids might be having fun times and busting their nuts, but again, they don’t know better.

@SW-User okie dokie, Sandwitch. Hopefully your will have children and your teenage daughter runs off with a 50 y/o man. I don’t care about right wing or left wing, whatever. If you approve of a naive person being used by someone more than twice their age, idk what to tell you. Use common sense, please. Writing me an essay doesn’t make you more right than me. I forgot you may be lacking common sense, since you’re telling me to keep my nose out of a post that clearly asks for my opinion. 😂

@SW-User
You are assuming that you are smarter and more worldly than a person half your age, though you would never know for sure because you've never dated anyone half your age and therefore have no concept of what that experience would actually be like for either party.

For you to say
especially for a person in his/her 50s.
your ego is attempting to decide what's best for that 50 year old person, when in fact you have no clue what's best for anyone, not even for yourself most likely.

Like I said, you can only decide what's right for you and you alone, but under no circumstances can you stand up like the ego-driven American that you are and dictate what's best for all concerned because after all, you're older and supposedly wiser and therefore know it all.

Only some dumb-shitt who goes through life with his head stuffed up his ass would make the idiotic post that you did.

@froggtongue true that ❤️
John628 · 18-21, M
Is it that common? I’m not sure
DrWatson · 70-79, M
It certainly doesn't bother me in the least.

But here is one possible explanation for the "taboo" reaction you refer to. We are inundated with advertising that promotes the notion that women must look young in order to be attractive. And that contributes to a certain cultural mindset.
Older women dating younger men is a growing trend in China, where it's known as "Jiedilian", which translates to "Big Sister Love". In China, some men find older women attractive because they often help with chores, cooking, and caring for relatives
longhairedcougar · 51-55, F
@FrogManSometimesLooksBothWays that's a new angle
SW-User
I love them but I can't date them really. I don't find it a taboo unless the gap is too big and it's still nothing to blame
SW-User
@KatyO83 I used to think similarly but nowadays I don't anymore, simplifying life I find that I like to grow together with my person and be able to relate to similar life phases...
But I still can get attracted by different ages.
longhairedcougar · 51-55, F
@SW-User bigger the gap better the vibe ❣️
SW-User
@longhairedcougar not for me anymore ❤️

I'm in favour almost always. Not going to list my conditions as to why there, but they would be equal for either gender. I'm with a woman now six years my elder and I love her.
bluesmanmark · 46-50, M
While the age gap between my wife is me is 12 years, (she's 58 & I'm 46), I agree with you. We've been happily married for 10 years.
smiler2012 · 61-69
@longhairedcougar🤫 it is wrong and taboo if you listen to people and take any notice long as you are both happy and it works what does it matter 🤷‍♂️
It’s not. Big age gaps are uncommon relatively for both genders but especially if the woman is old enough to be the guys mother.

I honestly don't care about who dates who.

So should everyone except if you care about the person and the other person they are dating is crazy.
RedBaron · M
There’s no against or in favor.

It’s an individual choice and nobody else really cares.
I didn't know dating a younger man was a taboo. I think age is just a number.
Snuffy1957 · 61-69, M
I see nothing wrong with it.. I had an older woman for my first sexual encounter 👅
