Angry, disgusted, any murder would make me feel that way, but in this case they’re being killed by people who will be protected from prosecution and who are encouraged to do what they’re doing by the government. I can only hope that someone ends up paying for this.
I don’t like to see people hurt or killed The rioters are not innocent They throw rocks and bricks and bottles at agents. They physically attack them with shovels and broomsticks
It is illegal to protest. They can scream whatever they want at the agents, but they can’t put their hands on them. They cannot spit on them. They can’t throw objects and they cannot obstruct their official legal duties. Whether they agree with them or not.
Whether you like ice or not, doesn’t matter, these guys are doing the job they were hired to do by the man who was voted in the office to mass deport. Don’t blame ice for all the violence Protester deserve to Prokott, but when they start a violent acts against ice agents. The agents have a right to defend themselves.
@sunsporter1649 a cartoon? Your entire argument is based on a cartoon!? Where is your historical and statistical evidence?
Oh, that's right - you don't do evidence! Just personal prejudice and fear, right?
Come to New Zealand - all handguns are illegal, all semi-automatic rifles are illegal, and the licencing requirements to own even a single-shot rifle are protracted, extensive, and detailed (even your friends and family will be interviewed). The police may enter your home at any hour without a warrant, to ensure the weapon is locked in a metal box separately from the bolt and ammunition. Fail that and your licence is gone. Be found with an illegal weapon and prison awaits.
americans understand nothing about safe societies - whenever I have lived in the US or visited there's a constant undercurrent of threat and fear. I abruptly left a meeting once because one of the participants was carrying enough weaponry to kill everyone in the room. Why?! What sort of distorted, infantile, world view leads to such behaviour?
Never mind cherry-picking between migrants and citizens - americans per se are slaughtering each other
Fun fact: 100% of people who stay home and don't obstruct law enforcement don't get shot. ICE did not bring chaos to your city. Chaos brought ICE to your city.
I'm against even the death penalty, except for crimes against humanity.
What ICE has done in the broadest of senses, qualifies as a crime against humanity.
Yet they are not the ones most responsible for these crimes. They are there on the behalf of this administration. And for that, this administration should pay the ultimate price.
Will the people recognize this? I can no longer say. The humanity of the people is in question. 😢
@sunsporter1649 Jonathan Ross was clear of the vehicle when he opened fire. Reuters has a second-by-second timeline with video frames. Notice how Jonathan Ross is fully clear of the vehicle before firing his first shot (3rd frame).
BTW, apparently Obergruppenführer Stephen Miller has set such draconian quotas that ICE agents are terribly overworked and under-rested (yeah, boohoo for them). And after the murder of Renee Nicole Good they really have to watch their backs.
@deathfairy Look back through history. Land "belongs" to whoever can take it and hold it! That goes against our modern ideas of right and wrong, but nothing can be done about that now.
There is no footage of ICE murdering anyone. They smoked people who were attacking and threatening their lives - and I dont care because they brought it on themselves.
@RoguishEyes I have to ask, why is it you people always change the subject to some past incident you think is parallel, rather than sticking to the present? Is it an attention span thing, or are you just terrified that if you admit that your president did something bad, he'll come after you?
They are murdering anyone. Stop letting the media tell you what to think. No one shows up at a peaceful protest with a loaded gun. Getting up in people's face screaming at them is definitely not very peaceful either.
