There is nothing complicated about genocide

helenS · 36-40, F
Genocide might turn out to be a bit difficult when the victims are armed to the teeth and have nukes. It was much easier and even fun in the 1940s, that much is true.
@Puppycat23 So are you claiming that the investigator reached out to the women and the women didnt want to speak to the investigator? After going on national TV and making the claim they then refused to speak to the person investigating.
Puppycat23 · F
@Ozymandiaz It's possible.
@Puppycat23 If you don't believe these women and would prefer to believe what has clearly been a less than thorough investigation that is up to you. I guess there is nothing left to say.

So, you have read the Hamas charter!
@Bumbles I have. I have also read genocidal comments from Israel. So this isnt one sided
Bumbles · 51-55, M
@Ozymandiaz Oh, I don’t think I would have used that word. Never thought you were a chick, though.
@Bumbles Glad you have unblocked me again though 😆

The cognitive dissonance in these comments don't even surprise me anymore.

It's only genocide when it matches the conditioning we've had our whole lives. The way they all scramble to make sense of their false reality is prime example of what someone does when they're uncomfortable with the actual reality. The increasing death tolls, injuries, apartheid culture, illegal settlements and detentions, medical, electrical, water, and fuel blockade can't be erased. It exists as it does and speaks for itself.

Social media has been the turning point to shine a light on what mainstream media has failed to address.
I'm not surprised people are fighting back on the conditioning mainstream media has planted for so long because it's been around far longer than social media.

Bottom line: The oppressors aren't Muslims or brown here and there's still many that simply can't accept that because it goes everything they've ever been taught.

@NickiHijab Coaching this in terms of cognitive dissonance is brilliant. It makes perfect sense because, well everything you said.

There's some very interesting shit going on here with race because the white people club is of course, extremely malleable. Jews have always been on the outside but weirdly, media conditioning has kinda placed Israelis in the club, but diaspora Jews outside of the club. The antisemites believe George Soros doing all the conspiracy shit, not Israel.

All of the social bigotries are kinda clashing together with antisemitism (ACTUAL antisemitism), Islamophobia, white supremacy, neoliberalism (the best societies are all global economy liberal democracies), and just uh we're the good guy narratives and Israel is included in 'we'.

Meanwhile the IDF are openly laughing over piles of corpses and everyone's brain is breaking over it. It's this weird cracking open of the system of white supremacy because the dissonance is just too great to hold within.
BlueVeins · 22-25
I actually think Israel has gone too far on this one and that it's finally turning the public against them. You can only cry 'Hamas' so much while mowing down civilians with a machine gun, here in the age of information.
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
Israel just literally went "Yeah lol we fucked up" on a refugee camp air strike that killed 86 people.

I've seen more than one tiktok of IDF soldiers arguing about how killing Palestinian children is a moral imperative.

Like how the fuck are people still supporting this.
SW-User
@CountScrofula "I saw a tik tok"... enough said.
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
@SW-User Sure thing everything on the internet is fake except for whatever you like.
GlitterEater · 36-40, F
@SW-User The IDF having official tik tok accounts where they post in English should tell you something.
This guy would have no problem with genocide if it was shallow trench grave of people he didn’t like. I’m sure of it.
@helenS Israel blows those women and children up. So you argue that it is more acceptable to blow women and children up than it is to hide behind them? Is that really what you are saying?
helenS · 36-40, F
@Ozymandiaz What I say is you should blame your Hamas friends for the death of innocents behind which they hide. It's such a cowardice, it's morally corrupt and depraved. But it's not surprising. These butchers surround themselves with children when they launch a rocket. IDF have strict instructions not to destroy the rocket thrower when children are involved, and Hamas know it.
@helenS So your answer is yes, it is more despicable to hide behind women and children than to murder them
Well, there's the tricky issue of intent. Intent can be difficult to prove. Simply presenting evidence of high casualties is not enough.

samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
yes it is, what is your definition of genocide? That makes a huge difference.
Morvoren · F
Merry Christmas…
@Morvoren I have seen a few people change their minds
Morvoren · F
@Ozymandiaz I’ve never seen you change yours, not that I’ve seen everything you have said and done here. But the conversations between you and HelenS or WintaTheAngle show that you’re just as intrenched in your position as they are in theirs.
@Morvoren You may not have seen it. doesn't mean it doesn't happen. I am open to change if someone makes a relevant point.
WandererTony · 56-60, M
Nope there isnt. You need weapons, hatred and should lack a heart
