@Yulianna only into China? The US has already ceded important ground to China in various technology and education. I am more worried, personally, that the US is barreling towards a civil war maybe not a shooting one, but even more philosophical and monetary.

The WHO reported over 175,000 annual heat-related deaths in Europe based on data between 2000 and 2019, according to UN News. In 2022 alone, an estimated 61,672 heat-related deaths occurred in Europe.
In 2023, 46,728 people died from gun-related injuries in the United States, according to the CDC

Based on these figures, the number of heat-related deaths in Europe appears to be significantly higher than the number of gun deaths in the United States. While some sources suggest the disparity could be as high as three times, others offer different figures.
