I’d rather have chicken fajitas with queso

@soar2newhighs that's it. You've decided my lunch for me!!!
Benjr134 · M
Because they charge way too much for it at restaurants.
Lara08 · F
@Benjr134 cheap raclette sets are like 30€ here... and well good cheese is expensive but so would be a steak
Benjr134 · M
@Lara08 for me it was $20 a plate. Not just the cheese. The whole plate was $20. You couldn’t even do it yourself. They melted the cheese and threw it on a few vegetables. It wasn’t a big plate.

@Benjr134 That is true. There is a food truck in my area that services that

I had it in charmonix france many years ago. It's quite good. I've made it a few times but most folks don't eat that much cheese here.

Yeah, we're really suffering up in here .. and just tore TF up over opinions of people from superior places 🙄

I've never heard of raclette. What is it?
Lara08 · F
@badminton basically you melt a special kind of cheese and pour it over potatoes. thats the basics but you spice it up with pickles, ham, mushroom, pepper, sausages etc etc... and you heat it up on those small special ovens you place in the middle of the table for everyone to reach and cook their own special little pan.

@Lara08 Lara, is raclette similar to fondue? Fondue is kinda popular here, but you also gotta realize that America (unlike most other countries) has like 50000 different types of cuisine to choose from 😂
I have never seen anything like this...thanks for sharing

Looks like something u eat at a party instead of a proper meal
ArtieKat · M
Why did cheese fondue go out of fashion? 😁
bhatjc · 46-50, M
@ArtieKat That was more a 60's era thing. People still do fondue

This is a question that I have asked.
Here: Try this. Pound out a chicken breast, season it and stuff it with the stuffing of your choice. Roll it, toothpicks ( wet first) to hold together. Flour, egg wash, bread crumb. Brown in heated oil, then bake at 350 for 15 minutes. Last few minutes top w/ your preferred cheese.

never heard of it before but I'M IN!!!
Looks very appetizing.

Because it's not a thing in the US. I got a set 10 years ago, and used it only once. I don't even remember where it's stored in the house.

Many Americans especially White Americans are stubborn and think they're superior to everyone else.
SW-User
They're too busy eating deep-fried cheese and moun'en doooo
What’s the cheese called that you melt?
bhatjc · 46-50, M
I have had it from a food truck
melbeacher · 56-60, M
