Why isn Raclette more popular in the USA ?

apparently a lot of americans never done it or even heard of it... clearly you guys are missing out.

Because they charge way too much for it at restaurants.

@Lara08 I know. Finding a set is expensive and so is the cheese so you normally have to do it at a restaurant in NA. There they also charge a lot.

@Benjr134 cheap raclette sets are like 30€ here... and well good cheese is expensive but so would be a steak

@Lara08 for me it was $20 a plate. Not just the cheese. The whole plate was $20. You couldn’t even do it yourself. They melted the cheese and threw it on a few vegetables. It wasn’t a big plate.
