I'm american and even I strongly disagree

senghenydd · M
There's so many different Tv channels you don't need to watch anything boring.

I'm not going to recommend any programmes as we all have different programmes we like.
Ferise1 · 46-50, M
@senghenydd their little documentaries are so ridiculously boring
senghenydd · M
@Ferise1 I have to be honest I live here I know what to watch it's automatic having turned off the poorer programmes it's second nature.
Lhayezee · 26-30, F
Well they're not made for people (not you personally) with attention spans that would embarrass a goldfish. At least they didn't used to be.

Watch Zoo Quest - which is David Attenborough in the 1950s. Leaving aside the dated delivery (and black and white) it's probably the best TV ever made anywhere. Boring ("informative and entertaining") today doesn't even reach it.
Ferise1 · 46-50, M
@Lhayezee I’m talking about their shows in general like little documentaries about how life was in the 80s, or shocking moments of the 80s… they’re made for grandma’s
helenS · 36-40, F
"Midsomer Murders" is quite entertaining though. I love cozy mysteries. 👍🏼
Jokersswild · 22-25
I was watching Detective Frost, A Touch of Frost, earlier. I almost fell asleep.
Ferise1 · 46-50, M
@Jokersswild I’m watching shocking moments of British TV in the 80s.
It’s a show for women in their 80s🙄
SunshineGirl · 36-40, F
@Ferise1 So you have been watching 40 year old TV programmes and you don't find them particularly entertaining? 🤔
Ferise1 · 46-50, M
@SunshineGirl no it’s recent duh
Convivial · 26-30, F
I can see where they might be boring for many Americans... No car chases, no explosions, very rare gun fights... But often get story telling and character development
helenS · 36-40, F
@Convivial In fact, car chases, explosions, gun fights – that's what's really boring! 🥱 😴
Ferise1 · 46-50, M
@helenS I’m not talking about that at all.. I’m talking about the little documentaries they made for grandmas
helenS · 36-40, F
@Ferise1 Got it – thank you! 🌷
exexec · 70-79, C
I enjoy the British shows more than most American ones.

Thevy29 · 41-45, M
@Matt85 Not a good show to binge though. It gets very confusing.
YoMomma ·
They are a bit slow paced at times.. it’s a different kind of humor
Longpatrol · 31-35, M
Have you not seen Blackadder? Dr Who? Top Gear? Noddy, Teletubbies and Thomas the Train?!
Ferise1 · 46-50, M
@Longpatrol i’m talking more about the general shows like documentaries.
Longpatrol · 31-35, M
@Ferise1 Walking With Dinosaurs?! Wveything David Attenborough's been in? The World at War?
Ferise1 · 46-50, M
@Longpatrol they don’t show many of those
Bleed · 41-45, F
David Attenborough more than makes up for everything else!
Ferise1 · 46-50, M
@jackjones68 yes but I’m not interested in some old guys documentary, especially British
@Ferise1 So what documentaries are you interested in. Or shows?
Bleed · 41-45, F
@Ferise1 If you’re not British then you have no right to slag off our shoes. We keep the best stuff for ourselves 🖕🏻
Achelois · F
You should watch afterlife?
Ferise1 · 46-50, M
@Achelois was alright. Ricky always delivers.
Says the one who brought us neighbours home and away
Prisoner cell block H
Same actors in all the shows
Ferise1 · 46-50, M
