@AbbeyRhode yeah so much fish is imported from China but they have a huge demand for the Asian carp that one man has made a business of catching and selling to China. They prefer their fish not polluted.
@Gorps yes I have two, one is a skillet and the other a covered chicken fryer. They are heavy. My other cookware was also made in America in the mid-1970’s from steel, heavy duty. So glad I bought it when I was in high school. The price tripled about 3 years later due to the price of steel going up so high.
About 12 years ago, I went to China to meet someone and their family, I wanted to bring gifts that were made in the USA for everyone. I went to mall after mall, store after store, and couldn't find anything that was made in the USA. I finally settled on buying a selection of candies, cakes, etc., from the Swiss Colony Company located in Madison, Wisconsin because everything the make is made here.
