I'm sorry people who don't know you are assuming you're a Trump supporter because you posted this. I at least consider you a political ally in the battle for America's future. It pains me to see so many Christians who legit don't see him for who he is. 20 years ago, I'd have been calling him the Antichrist and meaning it. He ticks that many of the boxes.
I want California, Oregon & Washington to become our 11th province! Wouldn't that be GREAT for Trump and Canada?

@Carazaa so where are you from, if you don't mind me asking

Canada is Liberated Territory.
They just don't know it yet.
But let them have a referendum first. Let them choose before annexation.
We pay too much for their security. If they love Freedom, they should thank an American.

@Hinckley Maybe Canada should welcome Russia to set up some bases here.. for protection. See what the US thinks of that. Better be nice to us.
@JamesBugman WTF are you babbling about?
GeistInTheMachine · 31-35, M
@Hinckley 'Merica Saved Canada from the Nazis, Illegals and the Terrorists, obviously. And Americans subsidize Canada's defense because canada benefits from US Taxpayer developed military technology and Industrial Complex.

Why would anyone want to join this mess (the US) and be ruled by an orange dictator?
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
@Carazaa it’s the most sincere form of flattery .
Carazaa · F
@AthrillatheHunt I believe many Europeans like Europe much more than the USA because they have nice clean cities, kind people, no homeless, and happy people.
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
@Carazaa immigration statistics say otherwise. The overwhelming majority of Americans claim European ancestry. If Europe was better nobody would have left.
I agree people should be proud of where they live .

We are independent! Eff Trump!

Never gonna happen

It's a wildly unpopular idea and also not a serious one.
Trump is literally just saying this to get the upper hand in trade negotiations. It's about asserting dominance.

@Elessar If you want a country like Canada to increase it's defences, but the governor is smoking so much dope he doesn't bother, then threaten to invade and watch them fix that.
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
@Elessar The issue is actual desire, right.
If the US wanted to annex Canada it would have tried in the past two hundred years.
The US' entire economic model is economic domination and that's already established. The US receives something like 90% of Canada's export trade.
Countries don't buy and sell goods between each other, they operate as fronts for private companies who actually rake in profits. That's already the case. There's nothing to be gained from it.
What would cause the US to invade Canada is if Canada suddenly switched off from being in the American sphere of influence to a rival power.
That's exactly what Ukraine did and why Russia invaded, and why they didn't invade previously - there was no need to.

@CountScrofula All true, but that works so long as some assumptions are verified: hat the country acts in its self-interest, that the decision-making process is rational, and that what they consider in and out of their sphere of influence or rivals remains immutated. Trump's controversial because he breaches effectively all three. I think we're entering the scenario for why France wanted to have its own force de dissuasion independent feom NATO.
Also I'm referring to the 2014 invasion of Ukraine, not specifically 2022. The country wasn't under Russian influence since the collapse of the Soviet Union, and trying to maintain a neutral orientation still resulted in invasion. Of course now it's looking towards Europe, after being invaded not once but twice

@LordShadowfire 🙏Make sure if you have a sore to wash it carefully, and even pour some alcohol on it if it is infected daily. And take a walk or exercise for at least 20 min a day (if you can't walk then do sit ups, or pushups, or raise your legs doing bicycling in bed)
And eat healthy home cooked meals with lots of berries, fruits and veggies, and proteins. Take a multi vitamin daily. And drink green tea every day and stay away from sodas. I will pray for you.

@Carazaa Oh, I'm doing at least some of that. A huge part of the problem has been the mental blocks around exercising. Going for a walk outside in weather that's almost always either too hot or too cold creates a problem. But I'm about to bypass that excuse by borrowing a gym membership from a friend of mine.
Carazaa · F

@Burnley123 I'm not worried. I think he'll probably implement something wildly illegal right off the bat, but I don't think Canada will even need to do anything. His own people are going to get on his case about skyrocketing costs and that'll be the end of it.
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@ImperialAerosolKidFromEP Maybe but he has pro tariff people in his team and they have ten times your population.
JamesBugman · 56-60, T
@Burnley123 Considering that almost 50% of americans are obese, that significantly cuts down on the numbers. Also we look just like Americans, talk like them, wear the same clothes and do the same jobs, so when America attacks, we can just cross the border and nobody will be able to find us.
