Why would anyone want to join this mess (the US) and be ruled by an orange dictator?
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
@BittersweetPotato ask one of the estimated 30 million new people here since 2017.
BittersweetPotato · 31-35, F
@AthrillatheHunt without verifying your number, these are individuals who immigrated because on an individual level they were doing badly and looked for a BETTER but not a great place. But why would any sane COUNTRY want to join the mess that is the US?
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
@BittersweetPotato There’s a guaranteed 20 plus million of them. Ask one. While you’re at it , ask El Salvador and Ecuador why they dropped their own currencies for the US dollar (those are 2 sane countries no )? That’s the definition of economically joining w USA.
BittersweetPotato · 31-35, F
@AthrillatheHunt WTF are you talking about, these are independent and are not part of the US. Just because European countries share the Euro as a currency for example, doesn’t make them all one country, like the United Europe States or something LOL
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
@BittersweetPotato it makes them a European Union . It ties them economically. You asked what sane country would tie itself to US and I gave you examples .
BittersweetPotato · 31-35, F
@AthrillatheHunt Joining a country is more than sharing a currency. You do realize that there is more to a country than just a currency?
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
@BittersweetPotato yea you’re right. No sane country wants to be economically , or militarily tied to US. Lol
When you hand over control of your entire economy to another countries currency you are definitely making yourself a part of them .

@AthrillatheHunt Believe it or not, yes, countries do not want to be tied in a military sense to the US. Who wants to be part of those random wars the US have initiated in the past and promise to initiate? Any sane country who doesn’t have an orange leader would not want to be part of these wars and “takeovers”.
Just to be clear, sharing a currency is not handing over the entire economy. There are certainly more policies and factors that shape an economy than just a currency and having some shared trade agreements as a result of being part of a union. Why do you think members of the European Union have vastly differing economies even though to put it in your words “they handed over control over their entire economy”. So.. the example you gave was not really a good one. Even these small countries do not want to join the US, let alone Canada lol

@BittersweetPotato except they already did join us , economically. You call that sovereignty? 😂Ask them why . These governments have websites .
BittersweetPotato · 31-35, F
@AthrillatheHunt That’s like calling all those major European countries to not have sovereignty because they share a currency and trade agreements. Your argument is laughable.
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
@BittersweetPotato Germany def has sovereignty over Spain . Don’t ever think otherwise.
BittersweetPotato · 31-35, F
@AthrillatheHunt what do you mean by “has sovereignty over” ?
Carazaa · F
@AthrillatheHunt Moving to a country is not the same as wanting their countries to be part of USA. Most countries love their own culture. When people move, they often miss their country and love their old country forever. They don't want their country to be part of USA.
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
@Carazaa it’s the most sincere form of flattery .
Carazaa · F
@AthrillatheHunt I believe many Europeans like Europe much more than the USA because they have nice clean cities, kind people, no homeless, and happy people.
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
@Carazaa immigration statistics say otherwise. The overwhelming majority of Americans claim European ancestry. If Europe was better nobody would have left.
I agree people should be proud of where they live .
