Do you think canada is better then the US?

In my terms yes...
Viper · M
At maple 🍁 syrup, yup they are...

So some things yes, other things no.
@Viper Maple creme cookies are amazing!

I have only lived in one province of Canada, but toured every other one at some point in my life. I have only been to a handful of states and had short stays. I would say that people are the most important resource in both countries. How people are treated by their government and others are key to the survival of community. I feel that Canada has a better sense of community, but still has far to go. We will require immigration in order to survive and that means being open to other cultures. My vote is for Canada, but once again I am bias. 😊

@Disgustedman We still have the loudest and greatest fans up here in the far north.
How many cups have the Canadiens won?
originnone · 61-69, M
@Canuckle There were only two teams when the Candiens won! LOL
Canuckle · 51-55, M
@originnone here in Canada we still talk about 1993. 😂 Next year :)
Thinkerbell · 41-45, F
Not climate-wise, by and large.

When the question is sometimes brought forth,
'Bout our neighbour, the cold Great White North,
They huddle, by plan,
As far SOUTH as they can,
Cuz their GOOD sense exceeds a ha'porth.

Some parts of Canada are better than some parts of the US, some parts of the US are better than some parts of Canada. Depends what you're looking for and where ya looking!
Quimliqer · 70-79, M
In some ways yes, in others no. They’re two great nations sharing the longest unguarded border in the world, that should tell one lots!!
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M
I never lived in the States so I'm biased towards Canada. I do like the idea of getting hurt or sick and not having to pay for it though.
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M
@Roundandroundwego I honestly don't understand your message.

@JimboSaturn we do have health and dental insurance in the states. Instead of paying a couple thousand or what ever u will still have a couple hundred to pay or what ever. That is still a lot better then paying the full amount
Jeephikelove · 46-50, F
In lots of ways, yes.
I've been to Canada many times and my boyfriend is Canadian. I think the pros and cons of both kind of wash out in comparison. I'd say they're about equal.
Longpatrol · 31-35, M
It depends, do they spell colour that way or as color?
DrWatson · 70-79, M
@Longpatrol Years ago, I read a humorous article in the Winnipeg newspaper about how Canadians disagree with each other regarding where they should fall on the spectrum from British spelling to US spelling!
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M
@Longpatrol Colour of course!
Longpatrol · 31-35, M
@JimboSaturn then undoubtedly, Canada is the best.
in some things, probably. others, not so much. it all levels out, but they're pretty distinct.
originnone · 61-69, M
Of course! Our little brother is sooooo cute!
They medical system is i guess
Disgustedman · 61-69, M
As far as making you a target for criminals? Yep. They're fantastic.
Axeroberts · 56-60, M
It really depends on the person and what they like
IWasCallingYaLarry · 26-30, M
Definitely not lol. It's an even worse America.
RedBaron · M
Are you asking us or yourself? Why does it matter?
GrayJessie2 · 36-40, M
I do think Canada is better
snofan · M
Yes. Not near as much stupid.
Love the one you're with!
DCarey · 46-50, M
Great! Stay/go there.
smileylovesgaming · 31-35, F
No to cold in Canada
No. It's identical.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M

In terms of healthcare and less gun violence, yes. But I’m sure they have their own problems.
Canuckle · 51-55, M
@bijouxbroussard ours are first world problems like who’s going to open the door. After you…no after you…no I insist. 😂. Yes we have our problems here as well.
ViciDraco · 36-40, M
Each has their advantages. I think i might be more Canadian in spirit though.
iamonfire696 · 41-45, F
With how things are going down in the US, yes I think canada is better.
SW-User
Is not the US part of Canada ?
empanadas · 31-35, M
Honestly, Canada has it's own issues. What I like about them is that they don't harrass their citizens living overseas like the USA does.
pikminboy · 26-30, M
@empanadas i mean US is great too, but the best from canada is the huge virgin land and the low number of population
originnone · 61-69, M
@pikminboy That's because it's 800 below in most areas....
