I'm near Newcastle (Oz not UK) in Toronto (Oz not Canada). Morning temps a few degrees above zero C. I do not have any heating currently (until I get very old reverse cycle AC replaced with a new unit) so house gets progressively colder from about 3 pm until midnight, then a gradual loss of heat out of the building until about 6.30 am when the air begins to warm again.
A nice fully cold dry winter means we will have a fully hot dry summer at the end of the year with temps in the 40 C + range on the hottest days. Yay!

@Ferise1 Gold coast is in QLD so about 800 to 900 km north of Sydney. The climate is noticably more tropical there. Sydney it varies a lot but east cost weather patterns are affected a lot by the great dividing range that acts as a 'blocker'. I've lived in Sydney and you go from very moist right near the coast to baking hot/dry in the west of sydney.

Snuggle down and enjoy it with a mug of milo as it's mostly heatwaves over there. We've got lovely warm weather here in London for the next week or two. Hope you are recovering well.

Yep.. Its been a cold winter so far. Wind straight off the worlds largest Ice Block...I take the Reverse cycle remote to bed with me and turn it on 30 minutes before I get up..😷

@Thevy29 Melbourne... We get Adelaides used weather..😷
It was so hot in Toronto today that I couldn't stand out from under the shade of a tree! It hit 29*C, 88*F with a humidity index of 34*C, 98*F under clear skies and direct sun... 🥵 ...we're not use to this, I'll trade you a fried egg cooked on the hood of my car for a dozen snow balls packed in ice!

That's nothing
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@Lostpoet Australia is as big as the continental US. With a very wide climatic range from more tropical than Florida in the North, Down through California like on the east coast and down toward Vermont and Maine in the south,,And at least half of it is😷 Nevada or Arizona type desert..
