Cold weather in Australia

@Ferise1 It can get about that cold here in the winter.

@Lostpoet Never said it was, but for the local climate here it's on the chilly side. I've lived in rural places where it gets down to -10 C at night. I've still never actually seen snow though.

@swirlie Yes, I'm on the other side of the world though. I didn't Australia ever got very cold.

@Lostpoet Quite true. It never even snows here in the places most people live. No need for snow tyres or to lag pipes to stop them freezing.. No "Snow days".. But that South wind can render a brass monkey imcomplete..And we dont dress for the serious cold...😷

@Lostpoet Australia is as big as the continental US. With a very wide climatic range from more tropical than Florida in the North, Down through California like on the east coast and down toward Vermont and Maine in the south,,And at least half of it is😷 Nevada or Arizona type desert..
