What's the hottest Country you have been to?

Well thankfully nowhere too hot, but Spain was 31 one day and when I had left the UK it was just 19 so a big difference.
My neighbours said it was 39 once in Greece when they went which is far too hot I think.

USA in Las Vegas in the summer time, 116 in the shade one day and the car got overheated when we were driving to Los Angeles and had to pull over in the sun. My passenger window wouldn’t go down but a couple inches and there was a rattlesnake next to the pavement. Fun times…
@cherokeepatti What we call the Suffering Season in Las Vegas.

@NativePortlander1970 Good thing we brought ice in the ice chest and lots of water to cool the radiator down with. I had to rub ice over me, I get overheated as it is. It gets hot in Oklahoma too and lots of times it’s humid on top of it.

I actively avoid hot places because I turn into a lobster 🦞

But I think the hottest temperature I ever experienced was in County Durham, UK in 2022 when it was recorded as 37°C. The next day it plumetted to 19°C 🤷‍♀

Spain for me too. I worked there for a while back in 2016. It was 41⁰C when I got off the plane.

My own country, ffs's! 🇨🇦

A bunch of us went out to Lytton, British Columba back in 2021 on our motorcycles and drove through the interior mountain town of Lytton and stopped for gas. The temperature in the shade in Lytton was 46*Celsius which is 115*F.

We then rode out to the west coast of BC, saw the ocean, went swimming, caught a fish, fell off the hook, then we rode back through Lytton, stopped for gas again.

Then a day later, the entire town of Lytton burnt to the ground from one end to the other from wildfires that spread from the dry heat of the day and every home and building was destroyed including every car, bus and truck in Lytton. We were only 12 hours ahead of the fire on the east side of it!
