JESUS was not 3 days and 3 night but one full day and two full nights in the tomb.

Simply NO.. The Bible does not say that Jesus was executed on Friday.. Yes it was the day before a Sabbath.. a High sabbath day.. But Christianity is a Grace salvation religon where people obtain salvation by the atonement of The LORD Jesus..

Jesus last meal was a Passover meal... The original Passover day which started at sunset remember the Hebrews took a lamb and prepared it covered their front door with it's blood and that night they ate all the Lamb.. So in the account of Jesus when the sun set and the passover day began they had prepared an animal and that night they ate it and then soon after later that night Jesus was arrested and tried and the next morning he was presented to Pilate and then was executed and by late afternoon Jesus had died.. He was taken down from the cross to get His body into the tomb before the High Sabbath of the first day of unleavened bread started at sundown..

Jewish tradition is actually wrong with the Passover... The Jews had for some reason taken on the traditions of the roman day rather then the Biblical day so they ate their passover lamb meal After the Passover day was finished. They actually ate their passover meal on the first day of unleavened bread which was their error.. Because night comes before the day in the Bible day... Jesus and His diciples where following the correct timing for the passover meal.. The Jews where following the incorrect timing..

The Hebrews had to cover their door with the blood of the lamb and eat that lamb on the night of the 14th because in that night the LORD would passover the houses anointed with the blood of a lamb but would take the life of the first born of every house that did not have the blood on their door this happened Before the Day of the 14th had arrived.. When the Day of the 14th had come thats when they packed up and left for the promised land..

Later the Jews changed things to where they sacraficed the lamb later on the 14th day time and then ate the passover meal after sundown when a new day the 15th had started.. Instead of eating the passover lamb on the 14th.. They ate it on the 15th The first day of unleavened bread..

(Exodus 12:6-7) "And ye shall keep it up [c=7700B2]until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening. [/c] {7} And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it.{8} And they shall eat the flesh [c=7700B2]in that night[/c], roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it."

Remember the 14th day starts in the evening and then comes the day.. They had to eat it on the night of the 14th..

They get the idea he was crucified on Friday from the Catholic church's mistaken understanding of a passage in the book of John. Anyone who ever tried to work out the math should have realized something didn't add up. Most give up before they ever figure out where the idea he was crucified on Friday came from.

@GJOFJ3 I agree with you that Christianity got this wrong, but the thing that bugs me about Wednesday is that would mean Thursday would have been the high day and there would have been no reason they could not have finished the burial between sundown Thursday and sundown Friday and yet according to the bible they waited until Sunday morning.

Jesus called this out because it was Torah scripture that was in a passage pointing to His Messiahship.... He shouted it out to the Jews who where Torah knowledgable that where killing Him so that sooner or later the scriptures would click in their heads and they would realise they had executed their Messiah..

Nope.. The Arabs where still pagans up to the time of muhammad.. For over 500 years they had rejected the Christians who shared the message of Jesus.. So God gave them over to delusion and deception and allowed muhammad to be lied to by a evil spirit to create a false religion called islam.. The religous Jews who did reject the LORD Jesus ended up being cast out of israel around 70 AD by the romans.. @BoygetsRTs however the adherence to a religion MUST study that religion. I went for many years not knowing. I've spent time in Mormon church and Christian churches it wasn't until I was 55 that I finally read the Bible front to back and then I keep reading it every day.

Now I'm embarking using a Bible concordance so I can read and then understand what's being said and then there is other books to go and study besides just the Bible.
