This question comes from my reading of Ezekiel 27, how the king of Tyre also represents Satan and kind of depicts the tragedy of the whole situation. Anyone have any thoughts on this in general?
@1234567890a yes there’s more than one book and there’s books against and for and everyone is fighting over religion and which one is better and blah blah blah. Just take it for what it is. It’s something that provides a catharsis for people who have deep rooted unresolved psychological stuff. And then it’s like ok. Do what you got to do.
@1234567890a That reason is 1/3 of the angels rebelled against God being led by Satan… rebellion against God is sin. They were cast out of heaven are hell bound along with Satan who was the most beautiful angel among them… he was called a light bearer. He thought in his heart to become as high as God himself…
2/3 of those angels have never sinned and are still in heaven and many even walk among us… They do not need to be redeemed.
The Bible says be careful how you entertain strangers for some have entertained angels unaware.
“Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
@1234567890a God loves everyone, including Satan, however, He hates his evil, sinful ways, for which Satan refuses to repent. Satan was one of God's most beautiful angels in the beginning, that rebelled against him and tried to take over the throne and all of Heaven and the angels.
God looked at everything he had created and pronounced it good. However, God is a holy God. He will have justice in the end. We all know what will happen to those who reject God.
The first Graphic novel series “Lucifer” put an interesting spin on that question. God created Lucifer to be the embodiment of free will, not evil. Lucifer rebelled, because he wanted to have complete control over his own destiny. As part of creation this was impossible. God, could not give him total independence, the best he could do was to give Lucifer an place as far away from his direct presence as possible. This became Hell. Lucifer isn’t evil himself, he rules a kingdom which is populated with the worst of humanity. with god’s approval.

It’s not my job to convince you. It’s my job to deliver the message that you can have eternal life. That Jesus died so you could have that eternal life. Jesus saves. Not me.@MasterLee
Satan is the best friend God and the church have. Without Him, they'd have no one to blame for everything that goes wrong with "God's perfect plan", nor have anything to threaten non-christians with.
@REMsleep God created the being now known as Satan, yes? Was he unaware of what this being would become? Did he not foresee it? If so, why did he create him? If not, then he does not know everything.
@CorvusBlackthorne If we are going by the Christian theology yes God knew of course and knows everything. Satan is not special, just a being of his creation like many other angels or heavenly beings not bound by humanity. God allows all his creation the power to self direct.
I've always thought numerous things regarding it, I kind of support duality at least a little bit and often wondered if Satan and God were the same thing. Not that I'm right but I wonder weird things.
God loves all of his creation period but God hates sin. Anyone who is unrepentant of sin will be seperated from God. Satan is just an angel who was highly favored by God but was so amazing and so beautiful he felt that he could be level with God. He began convincing others also. Punishment is not a lack of love.
