I often think about what Heaven will be like. Does anyone here think about it too?

All my life I have been among very strong Christian men and women and I hope to meet them one day again in the gates of Heaven because I know they are of God's Army.

They kew how the world worked long before I ever did.

They led the way for me and passed their knowledged unto us.

Our parents and grandparents are a dying generation. It was of them to pass their knowledge on to us, but many do not listen.

The future ahead, is of our children's generation and your grandkids generation. Is there nothing of God in form anymore? Except AI and science for the rest of the future to come, like 2024-2026 and 2030.

The Word of God is so very sacred and Heaven is our final resting place with God almighty.

Not all of us will get into heaven. As it is written, Narrow is the gate and difficult is the way but only few will find it.

Heaven is eternal but No one gets to the Father except through Him.

When we are in the presence of God, your eternal life is sealed.

Yet, you ask, what will Heaven be like.
Search for God and Truth and you could find it.
Trust in Him.

@MamaButterfly OK, if you don't know what the 10th Commandment is, do you know what the 7th Commandment is?
FenixGears · 41-45, M
Even with all the mistakes and bad things I have done in my life (we are all sinners), God still loves me and cares for me very much.
Diotrephes · 70-79, M
@FenixGears tell that to the Ammonites and the Moabites.

I know it's got streets of gold and no pain and suffering. You can also see God when you're there. How awesome is that 😀
FenixGears · 41-45, M
When I was about 11 years old, a member of my extended family told me that if you serve God in this life, he will serve you in the next. He promises this.
Diotrephes · 70-79, M
@FenixGears Observation from the past =

1 Corinthians 13:11(TLB) = "It’s like this: when I was a child I spoke and thought and reasoned as a child does. But when I became a man my thoughts grew far beyond those of my childhood, and now I have put away the childish things."

@RocktheHouse Can't remember the last time I watched TV. I watch movies from time to time and I agree with you it's all idolization and materialism. I only listen to Christian music also circular music has lost it's appeal for me. @FenixGears Can't wait for the that day when we live in a place with no disease, hate or racis. Can't wait to see my deceased loved ones too. Hope both my grandmothers and little brother will be there 😀

Yes, this life is short. God is in control. There is more..God has a plan, and it is for good. Forever is waiting, so hold on, don't give up now. God will repay evil for evil, And he will reward us who love him, so stay strong.

"All things turn out for good for those who love God.
Diotrephes · 70-79, M
@Carazaa I've made arrangements to be cremated when I croak.
FenixGears · 41-45, M
Indeed. He is a God of justice.
Carazaa · F
@Diotrephes Well its cheaper! But I don't think you will need to give a dime for that, because most likely Jesus will come before that.
We know what it's going to be like.
It's going to a city with houses and a temple and vineyards and trees producing different fruit for each month. The walls of the city will be covered in precious gems like jasper, emerald and sapphire. The city itself will be made of transparent gold.
There will be a throne room with god in the center and 24 elder thrones surrounding it.
There will be no more marriage.
There will be no sickness or sadness or pain or impure thoughts and we'll spend our days in happiness praying at gods feet.

Now i don't think that's likely. Maybe even a little creepy. For example, if there will be no sadness or pain then no one in heaven will feel anything bad about their loved ones in hell to didn't make the cut.
If my mother makes it to heaven and i'm suffering in hell...is she not going to feel any sadness or pain over that? Because in this life such a circumstance would wrack her with grief. So what, has she been given a holy lobotomy so she doesn't care that her child is in pain?
Creepy.

@Pikachu Technically the New Testament doesn't say that women and children will get into the golden cube called New Jerusalem.

The Islamic fairy tale says that women and children will get into paradise but the biblical fairytale did not include that provision.

The Book of Mormon has women as sex slaves churning out babies for the guy who is the god of their world but it doesn't include actual children.

Details of the New Jerusalem,, our eternal home,, is in the book of Revelation chapter 21..
NoobGains · 16-17, M
No, but I will rather be here on Earth when it becomes a paradise again with no more sickness, no mourning and I and my loved ones will be here with me in perfect health and mind. But best of all living forever and ever with no worries about dying.

@Diotrephes The Bible if you must, I have a couple of scriptures to back up my claim if you care to look at them.

(As told by John, who was amidst seeing a glorious vision of what's to come in the future)

Revelation 21:1 (NLT) ~ "Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the old heaven and the old earth has passed away."

Revelation 21:3 (NLT) "With that, I heard a loud voice from the throne say: 'Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them."

Revelation 21:4 (NLT) "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."

(God also provides us with comforting scriptures that He will provide for us on this new earth)

Revelation 21:6 (NLT) "To all who are thirsty, I will give freely from the springs of the waters of life to them."

Psalm 67:6 (NLT) "The earth itself will certainly give its produce; God, our God, will bless us."

Psalm 72:16 (NLT) "There will come to be plenty of grain on the earth; on the top of the mountains there will be an overflow."

Isaiah 35:5 and 6 (NLT) "At that time the eyes of the blind ones will be opened, and the very ears of the deaf ones will be unstopped. At that time the lame one will climb up just as a stag does, and the tongue of the speechless one will cry out in gladness."

(God gives us reassurance too when it comes to peace and security)

Ezekiel 34:28 (NLT) "They will no longer be prey for other nations, and wild animals will no longer devour them. They will live in safety, and no one will frighten them."

Isaiah 11: 9 (NLT) "No one will do harm or cause any ruin in all my holy mountain; because the earth will certainly be filled with the knowledge of God as the waters are covering the very sea."

Proverbs 2:21 and 22 (NLT) "For only the upright will live on the earth and the blameless will remain in it. As for the wicked, they will be cut off from the earth, and the treacherous will be torn away from it."

(In simpler terms, there will be no war or violence when peacebreakers no longer exist)

Let me know if you'd like to know more or not. I do appreciate you asking. Have a blessed one, sir! 😇

@NoobGains Hate to sound arrogant but i have read the Book of Revelation a few times 😊 And i also know the references you have posted in Ezekiel and Isaiah.. I do believe that some of those scriptures talk of the 1000 year reign of the LORD Jesus on earth before the New Jerusalem of Revelation 21 arrives on the New Earth..

Anyway thanks for your scripture posting.. Always good to read the Word of God..👍
Some compare it to a celestial North Korea. God owns you whenever and wherever.

I recall seeing a Sunday comic strip showing two haloed angels. One telling a newbie about one of the perks.

"You can listen to any kind of music here by just thinking about it " says the older arrival.

"Like classical? Right away. Country? Sure. Jazz? Absolutely!" Any type you want!

"Except for rap, that all sounds the same."
Crazywaterspring · 61-69, M
I'm going to hell. Conservative Christians can have it.
Diotrephes · 70-79, M
@TheWildEcho That is a hilarious verse because how could the writer know what God has prepared if no one has never seen heard, or imagined it?

edit typo
TheWildEcho · 56-60, M
@Diotrephes not hilarious to someone who knows God personally and who God uses to share His message
Carazaa · F
@Diotrephes The words are Gods words to us!

Yes, to the extent that I wonder if I will have contact with my loved ones and with ancestors. I need to have some questions answered, even if it's too late to put the answers in my family history books.

No. But then there are moments and places that make me think heaven can’t feel better than this.
pentacorn · F
nope. i just think about it finally being over, being alive and whatnot
It sounds shit. Singing in a frock in a choir for all time.
Yes, but I might be on my way to hell
FenixGears · 41-45, M
Hopefully not. God created Hell for Satan and his demons. God does not want us to end up there. Satan cannot change his circumstances. I spoke to my neighbor the other evening and asked him "is there any way Satan can ask for God's forgiveness" He told me no because Satan is too proud and he will NEVER accept God. God bless you, Souls.
Torsten · 36-40, M
Nope, I do that with Valhalla though
