I often think about what Heaven will be like. Does anyone here think about it too?

I know it's got streets of gold and no pain and suffering. You can also see God when you're there. How awesome is that 😀
TheWildEcho · 56-60, M
@karysma totally awesome!!!
Diotrephes · 70-79, M
@karysma Which floor of that 1,500 mile-sided cube do you think you will bunk on?
karysma · 31-35, F
@Diotrephes I'll be living in a mansion that's for sure 😀
@karysma Are you a born again Christian?
karysma · 31-35, F
@RocktheHouse Yep. Did it twice 😊
@karysma thats actually worse than you think
karysma · 31-35, F
@Mistakesmakeus I actually think it's a gazillion times better than I think 😊
Diotrephes · 70-79, M
@karysma Who is going to do the housekeeping in your mansion?
karysma · 31-35, F
@Diotrephes I can do it myself. I have all eternity after all ☺
@karysma ok so the concept of heaven is that theres no misery, torture, or anything bad correct? That also takes into account no sins. On top of that any bad thoughts or sinful thoughts as well which means that god completely removes that from your mind and actions essentially removing parts of or entire pieces of your personality. Sure everyone gets a mansion but who needs that when youre gonna spend all of eternity praising the fact that god gave you life for the amount of time youve been physically on earth. You're not yourself in heaven, you lose a lot of your personality traits up there since its deemed sinful

@karysma I'm not familiar with any religion that promises women a mansion of their own in heaven. In the New Testament version there are no marriages in heaven so, if you have a mansion, you will be the sole occupant.
Diotrephes · 70-79, M
@Mistakesmakeus Well, if all you will be doing for eternity is singing God's praises and telling him what a wonderful creature he is, why would you need a personality? You're nothing more than a mindless robot (zombie). There really isn't anything to do in the biblical heaven except to live (exist) forever. You are locked up in a 1,500 mile-side golden cube behind a high thick wall. There's no darkness so it's just nothing but monotony. If you had a mind you would probably go nuts in less than an hour, if you could tell time there. After all, one gold wall looks just like all of the others and you sure can't go shopping or bar-hopping, or even fishing, since there are no seas. Besides, God hates shell fish and scaleless fish. There goes the lobster and the shrimp and tuna.

@Mistakesmakeus Most of my day I spend with God so seeing him and praising him for all eternity would be an honour. Besides who said that's all you get to do in Heaven? I didn't even know who I was before God. I was lost like many people in this world who give themselves tittles according to what's tending at that time which is sad. @Diotrephes Where did you get this info from 😂. Heaven has it's own standard of fun things to do that actually satisfy you for all eternity not just for a short while bar hopping and shopping.
@karysma I turn off the TV and social media these days. Everything is about idolization and materialism.

God is definitely there, but he will be happily busy putting crowns on the children who inherit his kingdom. I also feel like his angels will be shaking saved people's hands and giving them congrats. I would hang out with them everyday. I would also be looking for my deceased mom and dad (hope they make it there). They say that every time a soul is saved, the angels will rejoice. They are very happy for us.

You seem like a very beautiful woman. The good news is that you will be young, beautiful and healthy forever. No diseases, no hunger, no racism. Heaven will be a great place.
FenixGears · 41-45, M
When I was about 11 years old, a member of my extended family told me that if you serve God in this life, he will serve you in the next. He promises this.
Diotrephes · 70-79, M
@FenixGears Observation from the past =

1 Corinthians 13:11(TLB) = "It’s like this: when I was a child I spoke and thought and reasoned as a child does. But when I became a man my thoughts grew far beyond those of my childhood, and now I have put away the childish things."

@RocktheHouse Can't remember the last time I watched TV. I watch movies from time to time and I agree with you it's all idolization and materialism. I only listen to Christian music also circular music has lost it's appeal for me. @FenixGears Can't wait for the that day when we live in a place with no disease, hate or racis. Can't wait to see my deceased loved ones too. Hope both my grandmothers and little brother will be there 😀
