I've been jobless since Wednesday night @9:30 pm. Suddenly my worksite flashed system error. It's my Saturday now @ 3 a. m.

I was sad and stressed. I just slept and binged on Netflix on Thursday.

On Friday, I ordered food for breakfast and lunch to de-stress. Emailed a site for a job interview... Then watched a Netflix series till I fell asleep at 1 pm and woke up at 10 pm. I received a text and an email.

A text that my worksite will be up today at 1 p. m. And the site that I emailed, responded for an interview schedule. So I ordered food and ate at 2 a. m. to celebrate! Yay!

The food cost me $5 from Kenny Roger's Roasters. 💵😉😋

I have on and off. I very much enjoy my jobless time. I use it on myself, growth, health, lots of nature time and start a new hobby.

I've been out of a job since June 2025. The job market is brutal. I should be starting something new in 2 weeks. My savings were really dipping low.

@uncalled4 hope you can save again on this new job.
I have been, I started 8 billion side hustles with every skill I had, called in every favor I was owed and did some heathenous things most people would blush about and hide their faces. But I survived. I have no shame about it either. We do what we must to survive.

@DancingStarGoddess that's true! Survival of the fittest.
