A Dybbuk. Look it up. There's a movie about such as well.
Paimon · 31-35, MNew
@DeWayfarer never heard of a Dybbuk. How interesting, thanks.

No I do not, and no I have not..
... However I am interested in why some people imagine they can be, and what is really happening.
For example, hypnogic dreams making ordinary objects into something unpleasant. I have experienced those, very occasionally, but once awake always knew it was only a particular type of dream.
In the case of the vacuum-cleaner, if it has an internal battery as well as mains operation, its ON/OFF may be faulty. Strange way to sell anything though, alleging it is "haunted"!

Now that would be a punishment for me, to attach myself to a domestic appliance..😀
When I first moved into our home, the lady who owned it before us had left her husband's temporary grave marker in the basement. We had many strange goings-on until I returned the marker to her. 😯

@Journaling4Me wow, that’s crazy.
How did you eventually figure out it was related to the grave marker?

@Paimon It was just a hunch. When I saw the marker on top of an old freezer in the basement, I was like, ok I don't really want that here. Then I gave it back to his wife, and "poof," everything was fine.🙂
Paimon · 31-35, MNew
@Journaling4Me I see. Like he was reaching out because he wanted to be reconnected to his wife or something.
At least it had a pleasant ending.

You hear about dolls, jewellery, and trinkets having something attached to them that can manifest as paranormal activity.
In fiction stories, shows, movies...

@BlueSkyKing This particular AI has a more direct scientific approach. Perhaps you might believe it over ChatGPT.
Absolutely no coaxing was involved.
Don't use Venn charts to justify your points.
The chart itself might be fictional and irrational nonsense!

Me:On a Venn chart the center area is the focus of the chart!
Please elaborate.

What the Central Overlap Means
The middle area of a Venn diagram is the intersection of all sets shown. Any element placed there possesses every characteristic that defines each individual circle.
Shared traits – It highlights attributes that are common to every group.
Focus of analysis – Because it isolates what the groups have in common, it often becomes the key point of discussion or the answer to a question like “What do these categories share?”
Why It’s Used as the Focus
Clarifies relationships – By concentrating on the overlap, you can quickly see how the sets relate beyond their individual differences.
Supports decision‑making – In business or research, the central region may identify a target market, a set of required skills, or a core set of symptoms that all cases exhibit.
Simplifies communication – Presenting the intersection as the focal point lets an audience grasp the essential commonality without wading through each separate set.
Example
Imagine three circles labeled A: Mobile Users, B: Premium Subscribers, and C: Frequent Shoppers.
Items in the central overlap are users who are mobile, pay for premium, and shop frequently.
If a marketing campaign aims to promote a new feature to this exact group, the Venn diagram makes it clear who the target audience is.
Practical Tips
Label clearly – Write the shared attribute(s) directly inside the central region.
Limit the number of sets – More than three circles can make the central overlap hard to read.
Use color or shading – Distinguish the intersection visually to draw attention.
The central area therefore serves as the concise visual summary of what all the categories have in common, making it the natural focal point of the chart.
Me:So if a fantasy character had multiple fantasy characteristics, that would be the focus of the chart? Correct?
.
GPT-OSS 120B
Yes. If a fantasy character possesses several traits—say, “elf,” “wizard,” and “dragon‑rider”—the portion where those three circles overlap would represent that character.
That central intersection becomes the focal point because it shows exactly which attributes the character has in common with each individual set.
Please elaborate.
