... However I am interested in why some people imagine they can be, and what is really happening.
For example, hypnogic dreams making ordinary objects into something unpleasant. I have experienced those, very occasionally, but once awake always knew it was only a particular type of dream.
In the case of the vacuum-cleaner, if it has an internal battery as well as mains operation, its ON/OFF may be faulty. Strange way to sell anything though, alleging it is "haunted"!
