I didn't wear my glasses today, I wore contacts

And I got soooo many compliments and people were treating me so differently. A couple even asked me if it was my real eye color (it is). I even got carded at the store. That NEVER happens. Damn, I guess people really don't like people who wear glasses. 😞

I'm 48 now. I wore both contacts and glasses until I turned around 40. My astigmatism got worse and I couldn't wear my contacts anymore. I miss them sometimes.

thoughts on lasik MD eye surgery? i worn contact lenses for almost 20 years and it's was life changing. But i won't do lasik MD eye surgery b/c i'm afraid i'll be in the 1% of patients blinded for life 😱

@hunkalove Perhaps, but glasses do accentuate eyes sometimes. I'll look at pictures of myself with or without glasses, and I like the glasses look better lol.
