@Torsten I'm an introvert and social recluse with a shiftwork job and part-time care of 5 yo daughter. Socialising isn't realistically or feasibly possible. and if I'm out with my daughter people presume I'm her grandad not her dad so that kills off any potential interest as a dedicated single parent instantly. Not worth trying.
@zonavar68 sounds like we have a bit in common. I think the single parent angle is overdone really. Granted it works with some. You will find what you're looking for in time, no doubt
@zonavar68 Plus on dating apps, the profiles typically have a laundry list of baggage. Depression, disability, just got out of an abusive relationship (which they will eventually end up getting back with that person), women with umpteen kids, men who are staying out by the airport or in town on business (I call them "traveling fucksmen")

Yet these people enjoy the idea of using abortion as birth control and having no personal responsibility. Gone are the days of waiting until marriage to have kids
@Stargazer89 as much as i believe abortion is murder. I do however believe there is certain circumstances that warrant a abortion such as the pregnancy actually putting the womens life in danger and i mean that exactly how it sounds and not it in the way certain people bullshit their way around it as a excuse. rape is another and yes the statistics are around 1% of abortions. It is extremely rare but also still warranted. I can not think of any other reasons though.
You also mention marriage to have kids. I never waited and I certainly dont believe in the concept of marriage. over 70% of marriages end in divorce. Marriages essentially mean nothing now. Its just a legal document where women can take everything you earned away from you
I remember seeing stuff like this when I tried dating apps, I'd have it set to women and guys with beards would pop up and it's like c'mon dude at least try 🤣
I do agree on this one, be what makes you happy but I can only go along with it so much
@Ryannnnnn Give Tinder a try - every 10th or so search result is a guy's profile even when you specified women only. So either heaps of guys are going on with deliberately fake gender identity in order to see women's profiles, or something else odd if happening.
The sad thing though is they are slimmer and look more feminine than the cis women on lesbian dating apps. The fact that none of them weigh 400 pounds is a dead give-away that they are not cis lesbian women.

@Torsten That or they're trolling or lack any ability to think logically. If they want a woman who wants a chick with a dick this woman most definitely won't be searching for such person on a dating app for lesbians. I read about someone dealing with this issue already in a book from 60s and I can't believe we're in 2023 and there's still no universally defined and accepted name or space for persons like this. Obviously, since I used the terms guydyke and girlfag, there are words for it but they hardly have any sense if people are unable to own up to who they really are and take offense instead. Shooting themselves in the foot.
@CrazyMusicLover i think its not even worth trying to work out their agenda. They're clearly not lesbians but trying to portray themselves as if they are. I heard about it awhile ago with men who identify as being women and them claiming to be lesbians due to that. Its the same as trans women who get angry when straight men dont want to date them. Those so called lesbians that i spoke of, got offended and ranted about how bigoted lesbians are who wont date them. The world has gone truly insane and people encourage it
@Torsten In my opinion it all boils down to the fact that many people can't accept the fact that the identity is not something you set, it's something society you live in sets for you to distinguish you from the others. If you lived all by yourself, you wouldn't even need most of the things that are supposedly parts of your identity. Your name, your gender, race, nationality, sexuality, language...it's all only important in relation to other people. If you want to convince them you're something else than they think you are, you have to come as close to how they want you to be as possible.
