@Torsten I know but it might as well be since that's what search results are like on all those sites - basically all bot-generated fake profiles and very few (less than 10 percent but I'd say less than 1 percent on some) actual real people.
@Torsten I'm an introvert and social recluse with a shiftwork job and part-time care of 5 yo daughter. Socialising isn't realistically or feasibly possible. and if I'm out with my daughter people presume I'm her grandad not her dad so that kills off any potential interest as a dedicated single parent instantly. Not worth trying.
@zonavar68 sounds like we have a bit in common. I think the single parent angle is overdone really. Granted it works with some. You will find what you're looking for in time, no doubt
@zonavar68 Plus on dating apps, the profiles typically have a laundry list of baggage. Depression, disability, just got out of an abusive relationship (which they will eventually end up getting back with that person), women with umpteen kids, men who are staying out by the airport or in town on business (I call them "traveling fucksmen")
