I noticed in this picture, that the weapon she's carrying is a Type 99 Light Machine Gun, which was used by the Japanese army during World War 2.

It's design is similar to the Bren, which was used by The British and Canadian Army at the time.

@Sidewinder lol just given you a hard time. but nah the anime is kinda like that cuase the girls are suppose represent different countries. this girl is suppose to represent italy so idk how the gun represent the country they represent

@Sidewinder it was orginally aired in the 2000s somewhere dont rember the exact date. its called strike witches it had 3 seasons and a Movie im not sure if there plans for more or not

@CeoriAvalon I never saw that one back then.

I have however seen at that time, (in no particular order) Fullmetal Alchemist, Naruto, Inuyasha, Death Note, and Yu-Gi-Oh!.

As well as a few old-school anime, like Astro Boy, Speed Racer, Captain Harlock, Dragon Ball, and Yu-Yu-Hakusho.
