I had a family of deer cross the road then settle down in my backyard most of the winter. They always have a sanctuary on my property....

There are some great videos on YouTube that address how plants communicate with one another, and other plants. Like when their roots touch another, unfriendly plant, they grow larger leaves to crowd out the other's sunlight.
Also some terirffic Ted Talks by Dr. Bonnie Bassler on how bacteria communicate with one another.
Bind blowing when we think about the cells of our body all working out an arrangement as to who does what. Imagine a brain cell thinking it wants to be a toe cell instead?

@Heartlander Read a book in the 80’s about how bacteria communicate and why some are getting so resistant to antibiotics

I KNOW that animals communicate telepathically. And I'm not nuts...just VERY sensitive.

@4meAndyou Imagine living in nature and not being burdened by laws and jobs and distractions like electronics, media etc. Maybe they are so in tune with each other that’s it’s their nature in order to survive and thrive

@cherokeepatti Sense of smell massively magnified...finely honed instincts sharpened further by the necessities of survival...

Yes.

There acute sense of smell and hearing can certainly make you think that. Unlike us humans, the animal kingdom lives or dies on situational awareness..😷
Nitedoc · 51-55, M
No, but they do communicate very well with each other.
They would commune with us
Heartlander · 80-89, M
Yes. Pretty obvious with fish and dolphins. Also insects? Do we humans have some of that?
Gangstress · 41-45, F
Yeh they do in their unique ways
Even plants signal to bees when pollination needs to occur
Everything that has life can communicate.
Maybe not telepathically

I believe it's their gestures in little shorts
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
Yes and sometimes humans do too
Iwillwait · M
Tail flips, calls, ears and running.
icedsky · 51-55, M
Maybe not telepathically. But in ways we have yet to understand.

Ummm...they have both scents and vocalizations...
Look for animals who coordinate without detectable communication.

Why do you wonder about deer specifically?
@Penny Interesting. Have you ever seen the movie “Leave The World Behind”?
There is a scene with several deer that seems to imply they are trying to communicate a message to humans

@Penny Just to clarify, It’s not a major part of the movie, but an interesting one nonetheless, and an interesting film overall. Let me know what you think
ArishMell · 70-79, M
