Were you a nerd in school?🤓 Did you keep all manner of bugs and creatures as pets? Did you have the unfortunate habit of correcting your teachers?

I loved keeping caterpillars through winter and watching them emerge as butterflies, I had dozens at a time. 😆
Snakes and scorpions too. (not popular with my mother)🤣

I was something of a nerd in school, but I did my best to hide it. My classmates made it known VERY early on one year, when I got all "A"s on my report card, that they would relentlessly hound me to death for being too smart.

I had a teacup collection...instead of critters..🤣🤣🤣...and loved to sew and design and make my own clothes. I spent a lot of time at home drawing and painting.

My grandmother helped me with several "collection" albums. She used to smoke like a chimney, so she suggested that I collect matchbooks...🤣🤣🤣

@UnderLockDown No. My mother was a compulsive thrower away of all my things, my father's things, and my brother's things. If the thing wasn't one of her things it was clutter and had to be thrown away.
