As an alcoholic myself, let me tell you: stray away from this path while you can! I know about loving the feeling of being inebriated all too well, truly. You let loose, you feel comfortable, you feel good and even if you cry, that feels good too. But you mustn’t become reliant on it. You will strain your relationships, you will fall out of touch with any passions and hobbies you may have, you may find yourself falling in trouble with the law, or otherwise, putting yourself or others at risk. Even if you do drink responsibly and even take measures to avoid having hangovers, your health will still be affected badly long-term. You can avoid a hangover, but there is no avoiding alcohol withdrawals when you’re sweating, shaking and even finding it hard to breathe. Far worse than any hangover!
Take my word for it as someone who’s already down this road and struggling to get away from it: you do not want this. Stop while you can. If you must drink, keep it occasional, at least. A treat for yourself once in a while. Just whatever you do, do not make a habit out of it. All the best to you. 🫂

This is a habit you really do not want to get started. Don't let it go too far because then you'll have to fight addiction. This might sound silly but try knitting pretty things because that really is very calming. That will get your mind off of things in your hands busy at the same time and it truly is relaxing or else take up a hobby you really enjoy and get involved with that but please don't give in to alcohol. There's no good that can come from it.
I invite you to watch the movie Jesus of Nazareth. I'm sure you will love it. It will change your perspective on so many things and you'll be surprised at what it does for you. It brings a piece that only the Holy Spirit can give. I think you can find that on YouTube. In fact I know you can and it's free. I hope you will at least give it a try. You will see what peace the Holy Spirit brings.

I have been through this. And now staying away from that. I have been feeling much better since I am trying to do better things. Its not been long but I want to keep myself up for good hobbies. I believe you can do it too. Just go out and find what activities you like to more and adapt healthy and mindful activities.

As someone who followed the alcoholic path the the gates of death if you feel you have a problem do something about it now. This moment. Look up some local help etc. And do it. Please don't end up where I did not wanting to live with drink or without it. It's the worst place ever.

I have been there. Really start to worry when you no longer have hangovers and start feeling more functional with alcohol. Please save yourself and get support. If you need to talk with some who understands, reach out anytime.

Do you really sleep? Or do you pass out?
An anticipation of tomorrow morning's hangover sounds like a good brake point for the night before. And you probably know where that stop sign is. Test yourself. Can you hit the brake knowing one more will put you in hangover territory?

Please, get help now. Alcohol and other drugs destroy too many.

You can drink with me any time. I'll pour you another.

No one can actually help an alcoholic. Until you're ready to stop drinking, you will keep drinking. If you keep drinking, it's because you're getting something out of it.
