@BobGrant45 Yes, if you want to massively increase your risk of heart disease, bowel cancer and type-2 diabetes. There is literally no scientific evidence to support an all meat diet and it is just a variation on the failed Atkins diet.

I didn’t change it for weight loss reason, but originally going vegan I lost a good amount of weight. Then I switched to high carb vegan and now I’m down almost 30 pounds.

@LILY61 there are actually really good meat replacements these days. It’s not like it used to be when I became vegetarian 11 years ago 😅 brands like the beyond meats (burgers, ground “beef”, and sausage) are REALLY great. So is Gardein and Qourn. You can even make your own meat replacements.
But I’m a carbovore, so I guess it’s easier for me hahah

Intermittent fasting is a bad idea; you'll just end up eating more because you're so hungry.
If you want to diet and lose weight, cut down or eliminate things that are high in sugar - anything over 15g of sugar per 100 g.
Cutting out fat is nowhere near as effective, and low fat alternatives often have more sugar.

@LILY61 That's a great start. Just take it slow. See if you can cut or reduce sugar to certain food items a little at a time.

Do very low calorie for two weeks (800-900 cals), then go up to 1000-1200 and do moderate exercise all the time. You can eat meat but try and make your diet very low-carb but you do need some.

I did it to lose 15 lbs and it worked. Then if I started to creep up I’d just fast for 20 hours which also worked. Now I’m vegan and I don’t have the creeping up problem.
@SW-User i just can't stand the idea of not eating meat...if i were left alone in the woods with a bow and arrow....poor Bambi, thumper, Yogi, Rocky and Bullwinkle would be in deep crap

@LILY61 those are the times between eating meals 6 hours between breakfast and lunch 6 hours between lunch and dinner and then 12 hours between dinner and breakfast. Why do people say eat less more often but that did not work for me this did along with sensible portions of healthy food and exercise

@LILY61 if you really need to lose weight try weight watchers. You don't eat their food. You just learn what to eat and portion size.
